Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

Yeah, that's fine cal, I found a way to fix it.

I have it duplicating twice during 4 tics, so 8 layers total and It covers pretty good now.

Justin, the sound is clear at 00:00:20, part of the main melody. I don't know, it just sounds kind of strange to me. You don't have to fix it if you like it, I'm just saying what I felt from it.

As soon as I get the new track, I'll record a video and post it.

Ah. Yeah. That's a zither. I've decided that I pretty much love that instrument. The actual one. My synth version is pretty ok. I want to get a better zither sampler. But yeah, maybe I can adjust the degree of detuning on the instrument. It does like to vibrate out of tune, prolly intentionally.

The soonest I can have the update is much later tonight. Work and all that.

For anyone interested, here's some zither music that makes me happy. :)

bleed, I got a question, I started my model with dynamesh but than used subdivisions to add details, now I'm using Qremesher to retopology my model and it works but I can't paste my existing UVs into my new mesh.... is there a way to do it??? that's the only thing that's stopping me from polypainting.

everytime I try to paste it it says, incompatible mesh or something like this, thanks again for you help

It's incompatible because it has a different topology/vertex order.

You can transfer the polypaint from another mesh by projecting it. To extract the textures to an image file, you'll have to do the UVs again for the new model.

Bleed, Dropbox now has Projectiles and (in Raidens case) extra effects for Subzero and Raiden. I'll get Johnny Cage's Projectile up there next. I figure that you'll want it though so you can test stuff.

Thanks, I have sub's ice ball in there already.

The timing on the fatality animation is made to match what was in MK1, tic for tic, that's why it's fast.

No, I had it from a while back remember? If you made a new one I guess I'll change it.

Also I just updated the fatality sprites with the skull for Scorpion. It has it's own palette and looks more detailed now, so that's been added to Scorpion's .zip file in drop box.

Great job Bleed and Cal! I can wait to see a video with the complete scorpion and sub-zero programed!

Im backing to work with Kano face, i receive some constructive critics from Bleed, hope can match his face just like the Richard Divizio :)

Woohoo Badmouse is back on the scene!

Thanks Cal, i was really unmotivated with the old PC i have at home, too less RAM don't let me work in ZB, lot of time screen freeze and lost the work im was doing but not any more! my new parts for rebuild my PC just arrived yesterday to my home so i will try to go to the next step and remake the Actual Kano i have.

Hope something positive come out...

In my opinion the only thing that needs to be changed with scorpions skull is the obvious. It needs to be a lot whiter than it is now like it's been bleached. That's something that was always distinctive about his skull especially seeing it on an arcade machine.

To anyone who says it's too dark. I think it's simply because it's on a black background so it's being dominated by it... on the actual backgrounds I'm pretty sure it wont look so dark and it'll stand out more.

Also, I'd hate to lose Bleed (or others on this team) to Netherrealm because that would mean his great work would no longer grace Mortal Kombat games destined for personal computers... it would relegated to the consoles... that's one thing I like about this project.. as opposed to say.. MK9 or Injustice which I may never play since they most likely will never be ported to the PC much less other personal computer systems. On the other hand I can imagine it would be great to be able to do what you love for a living and what I said above could be considered at least somewhat selfish reasons. :P But yeah, we need people dedicated to making HD versions of these sort of games for systems other than the latest consoles!

BTW
@Justin Slaughter: I really liked that Pit song remake. I wasn't sure what to expect since you said you aren't sure how much you like it. I was pleasantly surprised here... it's not as synthy as the original but that actually works in my opinion.
