Resident Evil 6

No lol, never thought to taunt when I'm fatigued/surrounded. Cuz usually if you're fatigued your surrounded. And taunting at that time is a bad idea. But I could see it's use if you get a breather after destroying a crowd.

I completed Requime for War with Jake, only using hand-to-hand and the Elephant Killer for the Ogromen.

Jake's quick attack instantly kills the flying moth mutations.

I taunted whenever I was low on stamina and had some breathing room.

I'm using Coup De Graces a lot more too, for the +7 seconds bonus instead of the +5.

yeah coup de grace is easy with Jake. way more complicated for everyone else.

The set up for it though, isn't worth the extra 2 seconds. You generally lose more time than you gain for the set up.

Unless you're trying to draw out the boss on a level that has coup de graces as the standard to draw him out, like on Urban Chaos.

The coup de grace move?? Is it done from the back of the enemy or is it the one that is done from the front against the extremely weaken enemy?

you generally have to beat them up with weak melee attacks some level1's and level 2's.

without hitting them when they are stunned from a level 2. Cuz level 3 will knock them to the ground.

level 1 being the first attack of your melee string

level 2 being the second ect ect.

Sometimes gunning them a couple times, then trying to do a few level ones/level twos spaced out will net you the result.

The animation you're looking for, is when they spin, and stumble away from you.

the other one is where they stand in place but kind of huff and puff in place.

both of those net the coup de grace, and you get infront of them and melee.

Jake is super easy, all you have to do is Aim with your hand-hand. and hit them 3 times with the 3 hit combo. Then they are instantly ready to be coup de grace'd

Thanks!! I've also heard these moves can also be used when your partner needs help and stuff.

That doesn't count as a coup de grace.

You'll know you did it when it's

Jake's Axe kick
Ada's Flip Kick
Leon's Backwards Side kick
Helena's Drop kick
Chris' Haymaker

ect ect

That move you use to save your partner is the same as your level 3 melee.

If you take turns doing lvl 1's on a zombie as a team. you can easily reach the result.

Coup de Graces are harder on Zombies than J'Avo.

I shoot the zombie in the arm, slide into them, then coup de grace.

For J'avo I headshot them, slide, then coup de grace. You can do the same with zombies but the slide turns them away from you, so it's harder to comfortabely pull off the coup de grace since you have to turn around immediately.

played with a guy the other day, that did like 2-3 shots. dunno what order, but he got them ready for a coup de grace w/o ever doing a melee attack (except the one for the coup de grace of course).

anyone know the combination for a zombie that he did this?

that would be so sick to know. dunno if it was like face, them arm. or something.

Also this is how much I love RE6

the only reason I'm getting an Xbox360, is to play RE6 with some of my Xbox friends.

shira included.

My brother and a ton more.

I found out you can also recover stamina quickly by lying still on the ground.

Also, I've never seen that before. I've only seen the 3-hit----> Coup De Grace, Jake combo and the Headshot ---> Slide combo.

I play Requime for War a lot now, but I hate when my partner just blasts away the Ogromen. I like getting on a higher level, stunning them, and then running up their arm to finish them off with the melee.

I've been neglecting Ada too much lately so I'm using her more too. I just hate that damn Ammo Box 50.

Yeah, Ammo Box 50 you just have to spray. It's quick shot isn't bad, I tend to just waste all my stamina doing quick shot/melee. Or spray their face until they stagger lol.

Just get good at headshots with the crossbow. Unless you need time/coup de graces.

I love how much explosive rounds she has though. That almost makes up for shitty ammo box 50.

Yeah, bosses are nothing because of her crossbow.

I love doing her flying kick on zombies and then just stomping their heads in. Easy kills.

I don't like the Critical Hit rate on the Ammo Box 50. It just blows apart heads sometimes. Not trying to do that! It's accuracy sucks too so arm shots are tougher to pull off.

speaking of laying down you also know, if you have half a block of health missing, and you lay down. That also regens a little faster if you do nothing.

Hey, do you go out of your way to summon the secret bosses in mercs? I use Power Counter on Urban Chaos so I can summon the Napad. He can be a ***** to avoid though, since you're supposed to kill it last for the most points.

Yeah sometimes I do. I don't care about getting like the highest of highest scores. AS long as I break a mil, I'm happy.

If I join a game that says Highschore hijinks or serious players only. I'll do the max point strategy assuming they know the basics as well. If it's any other reasoning, I don't bother. I just work on my counter/awareness skills when I play with a less serious person.

I always play to the end though. No matter how terrible my teamate is. I hate it when someone quits out on me cuz of one small failure.

like one time I accidently killed the boss early, with an explosive barrel. And the guy quit even though we were about to have a 150 combo.

the guys that quit cuz of one small thing cuz their ONLY goal is an extremely high score. why not just finish it when we're at 133 lol. Kind of annoys me.

I usually quit if the combo drops before we even reach 50, lol there's just no point in staying.

My friend told me there was this extremely hardcore dude who'd kick people if he saw that they didn't do Coup De Graces, lol.

I got kicked once for collecting a time bonus when my partner had time bonus+ on. I just didn't notice it

I hate when it says Serious Players Only but the dude is some scrub that just blows away all the zombies and J'avo, not doing any melee.

I can understand if you put up hiscore hijinks as your reason for playing. But any other mode, I'd expect you to play to the end. I just put myself in the shoes of someone less than me, and think I might be ruining their chance to get a high score they haven't reached yet. They could be someone still unlocking costumes for all I know.

I always play to the end, Even on a combo drop. Unless it's a combo drop before like 10 lol. I mean you only wasted like 1 minute, might as well restart when you fail THAT early.

I mean I just think "what if I sucked, and I'm teaming with people to unlock costumes, and everytime since I suck, I draw away enemies from the good player, he runs out at some point, I get grabbed. lose combo. And EVERY TIME it's not perfect they quit out.

I play to the end, always.

not say you have to.

It's just my thing.

I don't really understand the different between High Score Hijinks and Serious Players Only. Don't serious players go for high scores?

I was playing earlier and I lost 5 bars of health in like a matter of two seconds. I was infuriated.

I see it like this.

Serious players want to get high scores, but that does not mean you're good lol. You're just trying to do your best, and get a good score.

While high score hijinks seems to be aimed at people who are amloat pro and do it for a living, and legit trying to break records through vast knowledge and are looking for similar players with vast knowledge/skill.
