Buffs you'd like to see in the new patch..

Personally I think Sindel, Kabal and Shang are better zoners than Noob.

Noobs EX zone tools have more uses than sindels or kabals did you know noob can beat reflect/absorb moves with his ex shadow charge? Meaning noob has the tools to make nightwolf jade kratos kenshi Ect Ect to think twice about reflecting unlike those 2 you mentioned.

That only is a huge thing.

There's more but I'm working ATM I'll say more later if aedanwolf doesn't jump on it before me.

Lol I'm working too. Too hard to explain using the tiny keys on this phone. Suffice to say if noob had good midscreen bnb's ontop of everything else he'd be op. The one thing about zoning is its almost entireley a mindgame as such the reward you get from playing noob is only as good as you are at reading/predicting/faking your opponent. If you suck at it don't expect you to. Feel noob is very strong

Jade's overhead shouldn't be able to be hit out of it with ANY move...... but I can make do without that...

Sindel scream sped up to use in more juggles (this at the same time will increase her damage output and combos, due to scream being able to be chained off more attacks) Levitate gives more meter??? maybe?

Quan Chi needs a viable wakeup

Sonya's kiss, longer stun

Hey man Im gunna let you finish, but Noob has had the best zoning for years now.

Honestly, Sindel's spamming possibilities are way more frightning than Noob's. I've seen people who just spams Sindel online with ridiculous huge win ratios. When you play with them, they can barely play with her up close or mid range and know absolutely no combos, however, her fireballs are seriously one of the best projectiles of the game, specially her air fireballs. I actually find Noob to be more of a zoner than Sindel, but I find him more avoiable and manageable than her since he barely has anti-air good moves. His anti-air works up close but Sindel can easily spam it and make you life a living hell. I'm yet to see a Noob Saibot player with such great win ratios online.

This is however only my opinion.

I'd like to see a buff or two for my Cyber Subzero.
A faster set up for his bombs would be nice (I mean, is it just me or are they slow as shit??)

Teleport as BBBLP said, also timing the shadow charge to hit them as they fall. Sure at the peak of your jump you are over his shadow. but just as you barely even start falling you're in range of his shadow's hitbox. That thing is practically a super fast cyrax net but compensated to do only a small amount of damage not 50%+. Are anti airs besides shadow upknee.

I think you're just looking at noob too shallow.

OR you fight noobs who are too shallow.

I mean I think most noobs that pick noob saibot just alternate those 3 moves at the soonest possible frame. Noob saibot can also FORCE you to move with portals.

Nightwolf can too with his lightning. But I don't think sindel or shang have unblockables from a range just saying.

Oh critical, I was talking about spammers. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. It's much harder and dangerous to play with a Sindel spammer than a Noob Saibot's. I actually find Noob Saibot an extremely hard character to master to his full capabilities. I have played with amazing Noob Saibots players that really gave me a fight and they knew combos and his fantastic corner combos all along. The thing is, with Nightwolf, Noob Saibot became a much easier match-up for me, since again, Noob Saibot doesn't even have that much of a good air combat and you can jump over most of his oil clones and most Nightwolf's enhanced moves can easily overcome Noob Saibot's zoning (enhanced shoulder kills Noob Saibot everytime, it doesn't matter how many clones he sends at you), plus I can easily punish a failed teleport with a near meterless 30% combo. Nightwolf destroys Noob Saibot in close combat. Sindel however I find very hard to get close and catch that little stupid *****. But this is from a Nightwolf player point of view of course, I am not at all criticizing Noob Saibot's potential, I am just talking about what I have been finding online...

Wait wait wait......you're a Nightwolf player having trouble with projectiles?....that's a first....... and btw the best zoner atm is Freddy, he's got Kano's old knifes, a low projectile, a ranged stun move and very high damage(this will be nerfed though)

Nightwolf cannot reflect Noob Saibot's shadows and it's pointless and unsafe to reflect Sindel's airfireballs ;)

Unfortunately he cannot, but Noob Saibot's zonning is still doable for Nightwolf since enhanced shoulder and wake-up shoulder have hyper armor and armor and can go through his shadows.

Sindel however is a different story. Reflecting an airfireball actually does more harm than good to Nightwolf. The airfireball cannot reach Sindel back because she is on the ground by then and Nightwolf takes too much recovery time in order to input a new reflector when Sindel throws a low fireball. It depends on your position on screen, but it's too unsafe. I would not advise reflector against Sindel unless she throws you a normal and low fireball, the best thing to do is to get her into a corner and do a high combo on her. Even shoulder is not completely safe with her has it is with Noob Saibot since the ***** tends to jump a bit too much :p

I'd like Reptile's invisibility to have a higher damage buff. It's so small it's not worth being there.

Reptiles invisibilty isn't just about a damage increase. When he turns invisible, if you're fighting on a dark stage like Goros Lair, it's actually quite hard to spot him.

At least he has a shimmer in this...in earlier games he had true invisibility, which took real skill for the player using him that knew exactly where he was still.

Baraka doesn't need a teleport.
He's already an animal.

He just needs a faster dash to deal with zoners.
Or better yet, greater distance with his ex blade charge.

Absolutely agreed. Why not make the EX Charge an overhead as well? If Johnny Cage's EX Shadow kick can be given this treatment, why can't Baraka? I also think there should be armor for Baraka's EX Spin.

Baraka

-Make his F3 starter safe on block. It also needs a better hitbox when the opponent is in juggle state.
-EX Blade charge goes full screen
-Faster recovery on his projectile

The faster recovery on the projectile is a MUST!!! I want this move to be on par with Kano's projectile knives in terms of speed.

And that has been my whole beef with Baraka -- Speed. Buff this and I believe he'll show his true potential.

To be fair in a thread discussing balance. You should be only focusing on high caliber players. You NEVER MAKE PATCHES/FIXES at the noob level. Because things that need "Fixing" at noob level are capable of being overcome through practice. So that shouldn't have been brought up anyway if that was the case.

The thing is, with Nightwolf, Noob Saibot became a much easier match-up for me, since again, Noob Saibot doesn't even have that much of a good air combat and you can jump over most of his oil clones and most Nightwolf's enhanced moves can easily overcome Noob Saibot's zoning

I can't deny that perhaps Nightwolf has increased your success only you know that. But to say he doesn't have good air combat?

-Anti air Shadow up knee
-Anti air teleport

Teleport:
-Can combo off his jump punch(When both people collide in mid air at the same time)
-Can combo off of jump kick(Same as punch)

Univerals:
Nuetral jump punch
Nuetral Jump kick
Forward/Back kick/punch

Uppercut(upnkee is better, but uppercut is still an option)

Even his SHADOW CHARGE can anti air. you just have to not be predictable. It can't hit them at full peak. but it can hit them on rise/fall. Can't tell you how many times I can catch people's feet with the shadow's head, and knocked them out of the sky.

He may not have a jumping Projectile like kitana/sindel. But his clone has such a huge hitbox.... If he had a tool similar to kitana's fans.... well My good sir Noob would be OP.

(enhanced shoulder kills Noob Saibot everytime, it doesn't matter how many clones he sends at you)

It does matter... you said enhanced... you won't have enhanced every second of the game if you are burning them for EVERY single shadow. Infact most people have a ENHANCED move that gets them through noob's zoning. It's your get out of zone free card that you get a few times a match. But Noob saibot can call you out on this and make you waste meter. What if I threw a clone. You blocked... decided i'll now enhanced shoulder charge his next shadow... but come to find out I uppercut you out of it. And don't say you can't. Because I uppercut nightwolfs out of their enhanced shoulder charge all the time.

I know I said noob's EX charge can beat nightwolf's reflect(Which does work.. it just doesn't send it back at noob. the shadow runs into the background) So you might say... well you can only do that a few times too.

It's not so much the EX charge that will help noob. It's the fear you experience as nightwolf to not take that free damage. So when you see noob with a bar.... you will be a little weary of his enhanced clone. And because of this... noob will be able to use more normals through conditioning.

plus I can easily punish a failed teleport with a near meterless 30% combo. Nightwolf destroys Noob Saibot in close combat. Sindel however I find very hard to get close and catch that little stupid *****. But this is from a Nightwolf player point of view of course, I am not at all criticizing Noob Saibot's potential, I am just talking about what I have been finding online...

Everyone destroys Noob in close combat.
Exactly Sindel has a decent upclose game, which is why Noob is the better Zoner if he's having somewhat equal success if not better than sindel is. Using a specific character is unfair anyways to show "Who's the best zoner"

As I said. I play Jade. I can walk through all of sindels projectiles Enhanced or not. I cannot walk through all of noobs when he has EX available. Because of this Noob can Zone me STILL to some degree. Sindel might as well brush up on her up close game while fighting my jade.

See how I used 1 character to prove you wrong? you have to discuss the entire cast if you want to do this.

Sheeva needs a speed buff for reaction times on her air and low grabs. Maybe be able to low grab a blocked slide? It wouldn't hurt for a slightly quicker dash either.
