What are the games that you bought and that you regret?

I regret buying MK4 (because I should have bought Donkey Kong 64) and MK Mythologies Sub-Zero (for obvious reasons) back when they were released D:

Chaos Legion for the PS2 back in 2005. I thought the game was going to be awesome as Devil May Cry as the back of the box mention that "If you like Devil May Cry then you will love Chaos Legion". I play it and thought it was total crap, it was bad enough that I never finish it because the game keep on freezing. The game was one of the most repetitive game that I've ever played but I do admit that the graphics where great and I like the level designs.

the force unleashed 2, lucas arts had everything going for them to make an epic sequel to the forced unleashed and they f***ing bombed it.

1000% agree with this.you couldnt even call TFU2 a game,it was more like a $60 glorified demo. 3 hr campaign with copy\paste levels and 2 bosses.and the stupidest ending to a SW story ever! such a $$$$$ grab.I wont be buying TFU3 if there is one.shame too.game could have been excellent

It sucks that when you buy a game your stuck with it...
And alot of games don't have Downloadable Demos, so you kinda have to take a chance on them.

I seriously regret buying Halo 3: ODST ... I'm sitting here thinking it was an entirely new game with new online/maps/ranks but it was just Firefight and a damn campaign. Worst $60 I've ever spent.

Deadrising 4 years after it was cool, BISHOCK 2 OPENING DAY because 3 months the game was 20 at my local gamestop.

On the other end of that, my favorite purchase was Tekken 6 for $4.65 when there was a serious over stock:)

i didn;t care that much for black ops. i didn't do it for me like MW2. seemed like a total rip off of MW2, just set in the cold war and with a zombie mode slaped on along with it.
That might be one of the dumbest things i've ever heard.. That's like saying Mortal Kombat is a fighting game with a new story and new characters slapped on it.

Black ops didn't bring anything new to the table. shooting mechanics were exactly the same. Aerial sequences were just like the ones in past mw games. Zomibie mode was pretty much taken startaight from world at war. Long story short its activision doing what they do. Milking a franchise for all its worth and then tossing iot aside like trash. They did the same to guitar hero and tony hawk. They'll do the same too call of duty one day. I don't think it will happen soon but eventually it will if activision keeps doing things the way have been.

Wait, so Activision is the reason I'm not flying down a half-pipe with Spider-Man right now!?!

Man **** those guys :(

Dragon Age II: (WTF was Bioware thinking?! Bad enviroments, stuck in one damn city, bad plot, really tedious gameplay, bad characters, pop-up enemies giving you 0 time to prepare a strategy. Overall a waste of $60.)

Mass Effect 2: (Another bad Bioware sequel. Bad plot, tedious gameplay on higher difficulties, some bad characters [Grunt, Zaeed and Jack.] and some characters that are similar [Miranda and Jack] it felt like I wasn't a leader I felt I was just Pokemoning them. I felt that the whole damn game was one big filler for ME3. Only it's DLC saves it from being thrown in the garbage.)

Mortal Kombat Armageddon: (Self Explanatory)

Test Drive Unlimited 2.

I'm a big car fan and have a large group of fellow car nuts on my friends list online. We thought this game would be open world racing for all of us.

We won't talk about the disaster the game was. I hate bleeding from my ears.

Finally. Someone that isn't totally squeeling over how much "better" ME2 is than ME1. People need to realize it's just crap. ME3's concept and ME1's ending made the entire story totally unnecessary and pointless. "Oh dear god! They're making another reaper out of about 300 already existing ones! This is totally worth making a game over!". And it was streamlined to the point that it's just nowhere near as fun as the first game.

[/rant]

Still a big fan of the characters though.

Another regret is Bioshock 2. Such a great game, but I never touched it once after buying it. I waited too long and the value plummeted straight down in no time flat.
