Well, that sucks. And I thought Mileena had no bad matchups :(. Even if Kung Lao only has 6-4 or 7-3 against everyone, it's still something NRS need's to fix. At this point, it seems to be the case that Kung Lao is so powerful, that ONLY other top-tier characters can beat him, and nobody else stands a chance against him. Seriously, give him some weaknesses. Have somethings that that can beat out a Spin, maybe teleports and Down+4 poke.

On a different note, isn't this the same thing that happened with Street Fighter 3? Yun and Chun-Li were so powerful, that only they stood a chance against each other, and not really anybody else could really compete with them. Seriously, Kung Lao is pretty much Chun-Li, and Yun is Raiden. Really weird.

Everyone says that about Yun and Chun Li in 3rd Strike, but Makoto was also ridiculously good. Everyone forgets Daigo's Ken beating WOngs Chun Li at that infamous Evo match years back. Also, go on YouTube and put in RX Urien. That guy makes Urien look completely unbeatable. There was also a amazing Japanese Necro player.

what the hell is happening? The stream cut off then went on and everyone is looking towards the back of the room and someone is yelling DONT PANIC DUDE DONT PANIC! the camera is all shaky and then the stream cut off again

Is this how people play in tournaments? That was horrible to watch. I know some people call that Sindel tactic zoning but that is spam city to me. Thats crappy to watch. There was absolutely no skill in that.

This was the pool play. Basically the first part of the tournament where the 500+ players have to play to make it to the top 32 or top 64 or whatever. This is the part of the tournament where the crappy players are weeded out so yes these players are mostly terrible

Ive never been to any sort of tournament so I wasnt sure. At least there is hope now. :)
