how about this mostly original, character idea,
another female
an assassin for hire in earthrealms, korea
named farah
looks something like this(i found this on google under female warrior)
less ninja-y and a little more assassin-ish, lol
called upon by raiden as a great warrior to defend earthrealm
she has no clan or organization
powers: maybe a laser pistol shot, ninja star throw, rolling uppercut and some kinda super kick? like in armageddon's sareena's 5 star kick only faster
 
Hi Guys

A newbie here, I recently downloaded all the costumes that were available for MK9 PS3 but I cant seem to access it when I go to character select screen ? Am I doing something wrong here should I have done anything else after the download was completed ?

What are you doing to try and access them? Are you pressing the Start button to select your character?
 
What characters have alt costumes? I know I've clicked x or start with Sonya's second costume and it alternates the color of her top (bra, whatever) from white to gray. What other characters have similar variations and how the heck did I achieve that?

Also, I thought the Bell Tower stage was supposed to have a fatality built into it. Does it? If so, how is it unlocked?

All characters except Cyber Sub-Zero and the DLC have alternate costumes. They're unlocked by finding them in the Krypt, or by taking each character through Ladder Mode.

Unlike previous games that the Bell Tower has featured in, the Arena has no Stage Fatality in MK9.
 
Oh theres a little glitch i learned, you know if 2 people be the same cgarecter one is a different color, well lets say your jade and yoou want to be light green not dark (only works if you have 2 costums) click start when choosing jade then click start when choosing jades costum (works with anyone with more that 1 costum, so no cyber sub-zero) and when choosing a stage click start on the one you want if you here shao khan laugh he will get that stages klassic song!!!

Thank you for your response, but that's not what I meant.

I know that all the characters have second costumes, but Sonya's second costumes, the blouse/top, has two different colors available for it: white or gray -- depending upon which key you strike: start or x. I have no idea how this happened and I haven't seen this variation with any other character.

That's the question I'm asking.

Oh wait. I noticed another character has it.

Johnny Cage now has TWO suits. That first, horrible, light blue thing he wears during the story mode and a second, hot, black one that I just recently discovered.

Anyone find any others and how are they unlocked?

Pressing Start once allows you to change a character's costume. After doing that, pressing Start again (instead of the X button) will give you that character's "Player 2" colour, as if you were the second player fighting in a Mirror Match. Works with all characters, except Cyber Sub-Zero or the DLC.

First off... that's a feature not a glitch. Secondly, it is possible to do it with CSZ and the DLC fighters, but it takes a little bit extra. First you select any other character that has two outfits, and select them with a P2 coloring (start and start again). Then, cancel out of the selection, back to the character select. Then go to the one outfit character of your choosing, and select them using start. You'll then get dark blue CSZ, purple Skarlet, blue/black (not entirely sure which it is) Kenshi, and dark purple Rain.

Which klassic fatalities would you like to bring back as DLC?

I'm sorry if this was posted before, I just didn't find it.

Anyway, for me it would be:

Raiden: Electrocution

Shang Tsung: Soul steal

Sektor: Trash compactor

Sonya: Kiss of death

That's it for me... how about YOU?
