Why are there so many Freddy threads? To be fair to both sides but still keep from overkill, let's consolidate to 1. YEAH FREDDY and 2. **** FREDDY threads.

you're never gonna please everybody, if they released tonya everyone would have complained about her "why tanya? mk4 was the beginning of the shitty MK games" if it was tremor "**** tremor, he's not even a real MK char, they might as well have put hornbuckle in it", so it is what it is. at the end of the day, we're getting a cool character and no matter how many people complain about him, the majority of you are gonna download him, probably realize he's good and use him.

there's not a good or bad choice they could have made because everyone is a critic. i have noticed a lot of hardcore fans from the klassic era like myself actually enjoy the idea of freddy being in the game... hmmm

Unfortunately NRS FORCED Kratos upon us, like a d*** in a dirty whore.

ive been wanting to get every dlc character so far (havnt had the $ ): ) regardless and i would appriciate everyone else being able to face me with them if/when i do get them its only fair even mk purist should be able to understand that online is techniclly a seperate expiriance and thus accept those terms with out being a sourpuss about hiving characters they personally dont like which even tho you paid for the game other ppl hav paid that and more to get what they want to have out of this game but i digress i rarely play online anymore becuz it isnt stable for sum reason (and im not gonna bash on NRS cuz they did promise it to be better than this from the start i.e. Day 1 ) and when i do get online i hav downloaded every comp pack the 1st day they came out i dont like sektor and even tho i like he got his origanal MK3 look i still dont play as him ever but i got it to be cuz it gave me the ability to play something new (Skarlet) then with kenshi i would of done anythin just to get mkII smoke n noob just becuz i played that game soo much just to face them then {(even tho they wer copy paste scorpion/ninja characters then) also mkII smoke looked the koolest to me of any ninja ever made honestly and i didnt like his new look in this game the 1st time i saw it even tho i does make sense its mkII/mk3 ninja look i kno he wasnt in mk3 but its a style not timeline reference...} but wtih the latest comp pack freebies the infamous blueberry & lime combo i was too happy when i heard it was them bcuz i hav been wanting mk3 sub unmasked for cyber sub so i could care about him just a little bit... anyways iv been rambling and i kno i abrv. alot (and i KNOW! i hav horrible puncuation and spelling right now lol) but im drunkish and really hav wanted to express my feeling on this matter and this thread struck me as the perfect time to mention it bcuz im still hopin the next comp pack is umasked mk3 sub retooled (uncyberized move which looks to be way easier than making the human versions of the other 2 robo-ninja's i can elaborate if sum1 doesnt think so...) and the cyber smpke costume also retooled for smoke which would make sense that they took this long to fix unlike sketor mk3 look that uses the same animaiton (only they dont make sense to me random jets n stuff on his back seemed odd n cheap honestly) not to just hate on sektor but i hav been upset by their choice of characters for the comp packs cuz now i hav a klassic for every reto (MK scorpion, MK ermac, MK sub, MK3 mileena, MKII smoke, MKII noob saibot, MKII jade,MKII kitana) EXCEPT FOR MK REPTILE HUMAN! the only one i was wanting iv already "signed" the comp pack pettiion on here but i wish tey would of added the comp pack feature to the "hotfix stuff even if i would of not got the free costumes for downloading the comp packs sadly...

I started this thread when I saw one (count em) ONE Freddy thread and it was **** Freddy. So I started this as a counter balance. Maybe there wouldn't be some many Freddy threads if there wasn't so much pointless hatred for his character in the first place

I say its ok for kratos to be in and not freddy because of the following. Kratos can die, hes mortal. Freddy only has powers in peoples dreams, we all know MK is a tourny, not a characters dream. Freddy is already dead and cannot die, in peoples dreams he can do anything he likes. So all of his special moves based on his glove are really lame as his possibilitys are endless.

Honestly im a bigger freddy fan than i am MK. But this is a bad mix, story wise and the way he has been portrayed. I could probably let go the whole story and powers and him not being in peoples dreams things go if he was designed better. I think the biggest annoyance for me is his design, why the hell does he have 2 gloves. He has never looked like this before. Imagine if kratos was going to be designed differnt, he wouldnt have even made it into the game. They had to change some fatalitys to respect his charcter. I think im more pissed that freddy charcter has been handled so poorly.

This is just a money maker for the NRS and im quite appauled about the whole thing. People have the right to be annoyed about this, with all the rumors about it being freddy i think most people took it as a joke. Because it is a bad joke.
