on twitter a guy said "please have Rain say in his intro Where there are clouds,there is Rain...Noobde: Oh damn,has Rain been leaked?"

also a few days b4 that."what is rains opening phrase? Noobde: Where there are clouds,there's rain..

Im guessing they just left it out to maybe tweak the voice acting.
 
Honestly, I think it was a move in the right direction to have the opponent trapped in a bubble, while Rain himself steers the bubble with the ball of water still in his hands. Much better than what was presented back in MK Trilogy.
 
Rain's lightning has a MUCH higher pop-up than Nightwolf's. Love how different they look like. Perfect, couldn't be happier with Rain.

oh yeah , his win pose is EPIC :D fingers crossed for him finally getting his identity and not being a joke even to those people anymore. NRS did a kickass job on all characters, gotta be fair

It's not SO bad since I watched it like three more times. Don't get me wrong, it LOOKS awesome, just I like fast paced battles and it feels a little slow. Kind of like Quan Chi's trance. It's like "hit me already!"

and maybe a lightning hits his water bubble causing it to burst, he falls on the ground and THEN starts crying ;)

I sure as hell hope so! hopefully after the release of ??? lots will be patched up for DLC characters, nekropolis/costumes and entrance lines-wise.

I was under the impression that Boon was joking around, making fun of Smoke's opening line. He may have an opening line that they just didn't include in the trailer, I don't know, but that seemed more like a joke to me.
 
Gotta love his round house kick. Even Chuck Norris would be jelly.

Also, I'd hope for something like this for his Babality.

Now that Rain is on the way, I don't think anything huge is missing from MK9, except a Motaro sub-boss. As a package, the game is now more-or-less perfect. Anyone still think an Ultimate MK9 is on the horizon? :P
 
I too think Motaro is missing :/ I would pay for having a non-playable boss in the game to be honest. The nostalgic value is too strong and they already have Motaro's model in MK9, but there are 0% chances that Motaro gets DLC.
 
looks like that silhouette really was rain, some people were saying it could be a trick and it was someone else, but now we know for sure he has a bandana because of the new gameplay tailer

I love the DLC but it seems their getting lazy with it.
-None of the DLC characters say anything in their intro, they just grunt
-None of them have alt kostumes
-You can't view them in the Necropolis

They need to fix this.

Looks a little bigger than the silhouette for sure, and I don't think it's a bandana is it?? I thought it was how his mask is tied in the back. Looks awesome either way.

well, I'm actually glad they dont talk, i'd rather them be silent then have a stupid voice


but the lack of costumes do piss me off. No reason for them to leave them out.
