I really hate it that noob in his mk2 alternate costume has a shadow who is actually smoke... it doesn't fit!

Yes I did and I never liked this concept... mixing isn't always good, same with alcohol :)

When you fight the Hidden Klassic Smoke in the Forest, it is still the MK1 Skin Smoke, yet the Smoke that looks around the Tree is a MK2 Smoke. This needs to be fixed.

When you fight Hidden Klassic Noob, it is still the MK1 Skin Noob, yet the Noob thats standing in the background is the Normal MK9 Noob. This also needs to be fixed.

They should both be MK2 Skins as they both first appeared in MK2.

Well they must be cause if you pick Classic Noob in his alternate color he doesn't throw shadows. He throws classic Smokes at you. Now that's a friendship

Smoke nerf with classic costume

So I was playing around with Smoke with his classic outfit in practice mode when I noticed that my combos had 1% less dmg than usual.

At first I thought that a hot fix just got installed or something. So I tried Kitana and subzero but all my combos had the same %.

I tried Smoke again with his normal gear and the % was back to normal. Took the classic one again and my BnB was doing 39% instead of 40%.

I tried kit and sub classic outfits after that and everything was fine. So maybe other characters have the same issue. I would try Noob but i just don't care cuz i don't use him anyway and well, idk any good combos with him either. So maybe one of u noob fans out there can try and see if its the same issue for him.

So yea, 1% is no big deal but still...

Hope this gets fixed soon.

Oh and btw this is on ps3, issue is the same in practice and ladder mode,didn't try online yet.

Edit: Okay I missed the part where you did in fact use the regular costume.
That is strange.

I don't see why alternate costumes have different properties.
Like UMK3 Cyrax having the bomb trap.

No, but the Mk2 costume this guy mentioned has been reported to still have his OTG.

Hehe, yea I know it's no big deal, I rarely change costume anyway. Just wanted to throw it out there.

But to answer your question, the issue is only when you pic the classic outfit, the 2 others don't have that glitch/bug/whatever.

You're right, I just tried his old OTG combos with his classic costume and they work but when you pick the other 2 costumes they don't lol.

Maybe this needs a quick fix after all hehe

Yeah, that and Cyrax's Bomb trap on Mk3 costume.

All these costume bugs (Smoke OTG, Cyrax BT, Noob- Smoke Clone) just makes me wonder how this whole costume patch stuff happens, I wouldve thought it was a simpler process, apparently not.

You see, I think I know why things work the way they do, in regards of Cyrax's Bomb Trap.

As we can see, Cyrax has different costumes with different properties (I forget what his Primary has, but his Secondary has a Safe Teleport). Obviously, this means the costumes are balanced differently, with different coding. So, going on this, they just gave us Cyrax's Old Coding with a new skin, giving us the Bomb Trap again.

Probably the same reason why Smoke has his OTG move in his Klassic, too.

This CAN'T be done in the Klassic costume. After the combo string, you're not able to throw out a portal.

The boss babality doesnt work for MK2 Smoke, When you get to shang Stung the Bablity input wont do anything...It wont work.
