actually im pretty sure the issues are not the netcode itself but rather some bugs that got thru

for example, if i try to pick a alt color it desynchs every tiem, thats not a netcode problem.

sometimes my dlc disapears, not a netcode problem

sometimes if the other person picks a alt color it desynchs, not netcode

so really, the patch has problems, but it isnt the netcode, the netcode is vastly improved to the point where sometimse it feels like offline.

yeah I saw someone saying something about the alternate costumes and noticed it as well myself. Seems to be inconsistent with some characters (like Kano).

Excuse my ignorance, here I thought netcode had to do with everything with connecting players and keeping them connected at a decent speed.

I picked either KL or Sub's alt costume and it "Session no longer..." me each and every time for at least 10 games.
Sometimes it was my opponent and did the same.

NO WAY they tested the patch without using alt costumes... lol

EDIT: I quit the game and logged back on... I didn't have the problem anymore. Hhhm, silent patch or just a per session bug?
I know all my games right after the patch was applied were disconnecting but my second session was fine.

Maybe people just need to "reboot their computers?" :)

I just gave up playing last night.......... in about 50 matches, ive gotten atleast 25 "game no longer in session" or the new " game has desynchronized" msg

Its infuriating, so im done playing until they find a way to fix this problem (which i imagine shouldnt take too long)

It makes me wonder if they even care or are aware of the issue, i try to tweet noobde many times while he was on twitter, and he never answered once, and to say he didnt see those is a lie, i made sure to keep it up to no avail.
sometimes he can be such an *******.

lol a game developer doesnt respond to your tweet so hes an *******, awesome reasoning.

maybe they are working on the problem eh? maybe they dont care to answer to the 108232347th exact question you posted?

if they are working on it, then make a press release stating so, instead they just ignore everything thrown at them on the issue, and yes we are all entittle to some news about it, after all we bought the game from them, and it would be in their best interest to say something instead of staying mum on the subject.

If i knew this was going to happen, i would have bought the xbox 360 version.

i dont know about you but in USA its capitalism, which means you get what you pay for, and not a drop more.

you paid for the game, youd have to pay a monthly fee for more, anything else your getting is great, but also considered either poor or abstract business sense.

pessimistic i know, but saying "i tweeted this one guy and he didnt respond FFFFFUUUU" is as about rediculous as it gets.

But he is right... its a shame that Ed Boon and NRS have so bad information politics, because they promised so much for their game and especially the online mode, which is NOT working at all since release, and still, no informations to the people who PAYED for their crap Game and trusted on them etc. is that how you treat your customers and fans? If so... yeh, what a shame.

Since some days online mode is ****ed up totally, especially koth, its not like it was good, but now you cant even join a koth... and other people having massive problems on their PS3 with the "patch"... still no informations from Ed Boon or NRS... that is horrible customer service, really really horrible. And who ever wants to say that its normal or "okay" blabla does not work for his money, that simple.

online mode has its problems but i find it works more hten it doesnt.

problems ive had is klassic comstumes dissapearing then reappearing, desynchs if i pick a alt color or if opponent does...thats it, other then that i havent had any issues, its even been better gameplaywise.

and again, capitalism. you can say its a copout answer or that your ideology disagrees or how its morally wrong or bad business w/e its still the reason.

one thing you can rest assured is that until they make mk10 or go to another game/go out of business they will update this game, if you dont like their customer service complaining is fine, wanting more is fine, but expecting more is foolishness as far as reality is concerned

exactly, so why you bash my complaint? you dont make any sense, i know am right about this, even if it is unpopular to some fans, its the truth, and it hurts at times :P

probably because he is busy,and doesnt have time to return the thousands of tweets he gets a day? wow what some ppl think they are entitled to is scary some times....

first off,MK 9 is far from a crap game,if you think MK9 is a crap game you have no taste in games at all.second I work VERY hard for my money,but I certainly DO NOT expect a game developer to give me a personal response to all my tweets,emails etc..what do you think NRS is doing now?you think they are sitting around laughing at people who cannot play their game? most likely they are working their asses off trying to fix the problems so people can enjoy their game online again.oh yea thats the other thing.the game is in no way "unplayable" offline and local vs work just fine.and,not everyone is having problems,some ppl are saying online is better then ever.patience my fellow MK fiends,patience ;)

now this is a little off topic but I have heard that certain people were pressuring NRS to release this patch early as to get it in in time for a weekend tourney.has anyone else heard this?or is it just more internet nonsense?

The netcode is HORRIBLE since the patch. I get desynch'd or "session no longer available" just about every game. If I'm actually able to do a fight the same crap happens before the 2nd fight even starts. I feel lucky if I'm actually able to fight anyone...

I know this isn't just me either, many ppl in the lobbies saying they have the same issues.

When the fights actually do happen I have noticed an improvement for the most part with the lag.

Before anyone says it: my net is fine, I didn't get this crap nearly this often before the patch broke online play. I saw a fix in some other thread about deleting and reinstalling but that is simply unacceptable.

it happens to me to and i want to know how to make that stop. i cant play one match unless it a private match. but still i would like to play ranked matches again.
 
Up Ball is still broke can do it twice in a row with no chance of opponent punishing. Not even an Up Ball can interrupt a 2 Up Ball string. Fix this crap NRS.
