Been waiting for Sub's spine rip fatality....that alone was worth the $5 to me. Reptiles fatality and all the other costumes are just a bonus ;)

Smokes costume better be his UMK3 costume. Not ANOTHER MK1 Retro one (although that's what it looks like its gonna be judging from the secret Smoke fight in the Living Forest)... And Noob better have his UMK3 costume too :P

I'm very happy. I already had Ermac, Scorps and Sub Zero, but Reptile and the girls look amazing.

I agree! Plus they Shouldnt have added that silly Bulge in his throat when he swallows.... He should have just swallowed it. And if a person had a hat (Kung Lao/Raiden/Stryker/Nightwolf Alt/etc...) Then the hat should just pop off their head and land on the floor (like in X-rays) as the head is torn from the neck and taken towards the mouth. And then a "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM" and tummy rub is in order!

EDIT: since someone neg-repped me for what I said using the 'they lied to us argument', here's a quote of myself in another related thread:

how about you people stop being so damn bitter and be grateful the team delivered such a great game to us? the fact you went on a shopping spree and bought like 6515616 copies of the game to get even more codes or didn't realize all those would eventually be available for everyone as DLC in a humiliating price is all YOUR fault, not NRS'. and yes, you could claim they lied to you but giving us available bosses for example needs some work and if it comes as DLC later on wtf will you say? the bosses were in the game already so I deserve to get them to be playable for free now? jesus, if you actually spent like a minute to actually use your brain, you would KNOW all those skins would eventually be available for a price in the likes of five bucks.

Why NRS took a lot of work making new detailed costumes if everyone wants the boring pallet swaps, i really dont understand.

What I want is classic fatalities, classic stages and classic stage fatalities, why? because only the concept is classic because they would be overhauled and look "modern", but the classic ninjas and girls look tooooooo simple and boring IMO.

The only classics that could look cool are Cyborgs and Kabal, why? because they are detailed, they are not a one color simple pallet swapped suit.

Anyway is a matter of tastes, I'd prefer UMK3 ninjas rather than MK2...

I agree, i was very dissapointed Reptile didnt do the tummy rub and the mmmm afer the fatality, its not even the same klassic fatality if you ask me, that was definatley lazy of them

That'd look lame in the present. Same as Kabal old fatalities, they are just lame lol tahts why they wasnt included.

I would pay good money for:
  • Kitana's classic Kiss of Death fatality
  • Mileena's MK2 Sai stab fatality (if done properly, this could be really cool, IMHO of course)
  • a modern interpretation of Mileena's UMK3 "nails" fatality
... and, repeating myself:
  • MK2 female ninjas (Jade, Mileena, Kitana, Skarlet)
  • UMK3-style Skarlet

I always really liked the sai stab, it was vicious and fit mileena really well, I dont see the appeal in the nail spit, its a little too over the top and silly for me

Agreed, they would have to somehow update/improve the nail spit significantly to make it less silly. In any case, I don't think it will happen.

I'm agreeing with ninja. For one, the DLC is $5. I can understand your anger at them lying, but I'm sure you can find it in your unforgiving hearts to drop the price of a pack of cigarettes to support future DLC.

Jeezus people, your parents did not teach you that Patience is a Virtue for nothing.

I'm using classic Sub-Zero and Kitana. I still need to practice a lot with Reptile.

All the others have pretty good costumes already, although I like every Sub-Zero costume.

And why did they give eye pupils to Scorpion? Why? Also Classic Sub-Zero should have Bi-han's voice.

I think Kitana's retro makes the biggest difference. I wasn't much of a fan of her default and I really loathed her alt, so this option makes her a little more interesting to me.

I'm also glad to have Sub-Zero's retro; I wasn't too keen on either of his costume choices, either.

Already had Reptile and Ermac.

Really hope we can get Smoke, Noob, Cyrax, Sektor, and hopefully more next.

I don't see Mileena's Sai Stab Fatality coming since it's basically her X-Ray, but if they would do it, I think it would be similar to Kabal's "It Takes Guts" Fatality.

Of course there will be more packs! I mean come on, they made $5 off of everyone for an incomplete pack *not everyone has a fatality* why in the world would they stop there, pull more heart strings please!
