MK Australia Banning Discussion

Godspeed to our Australian friends! I believe I speak for the whole community when I say that every MK fan feels your pain and hope as many of you get it as possible. It's just cruel to deprive a whole demographic of the splendor that is our favorite game.

GL and I hope to see many success stories coming from your lot! ^.^

Yea I want to hear some success and (god forbid) failure stories about importing. I ordered from Mighty Ape but they don't expect to receive supplies until after the Easter holidays.

I was informed mine will ship on the 29th. Didn't realise the NZ release
date was different to the rest of the world.
 
Yea me neither. Where did you guys that have already got theres shipped order from?

Mighty Ape also denied me my TE saying they dont ship them overseas due to risk of damage... I was pretty disappointed but on the bright side, if it does get seized (again god forbid) I wont be losing that much money.
 
i havn't ordered mine yet, not sure where i should order from, gonna wait and see whats a success, my brother and a mate have both ordered their copies already, one from ebay and one from some hong kong store online?? not sure about 'em..

bah! i want it now god dam it..
 
I might be getting mine tomorrow. It seems to have passed through customs and is being processed for international release.

I will report back here on the outcome tomorrow. I've been really quiet about this in hopes of not jinxing it for myself.

I bought 2 copies and will post pics and maybe a video :P

It was shipped via FedEx yesterday and arrived in Mascot around noon today. About an hour a go it was cleared. I assume if there was anything wrong they would have delayed shipping or would have stated something in tracking. It's just 2 copies of MK so if they confiscated it I assume I wouldn't be getting any package at all.

Lol one is for my brother. I ordered another 2 as a hedge and if they make it through i may give them to friends or sell one to a fellow board member. I haven't decided.

Ahh ok. I had no idea you could track its arrival and stuff.

Its very likely you will get it.
 
I'm going to ask my sister, or best friend, in Belgium to send me the DVD seperately first (maybe in a cd case of a non-offensive band or something) and then, if that gets through - which I'm pretty sure it will - I'll have them send the rest over, plain as day because if there's no DVD in there, they can't stop it anyway. I'll definitely keep everyone posted on whether my method will work or not. Might take a little while, though, unfortunately. Ah well.
