Which Character will you main?

Well first im going to have to try them all out, see which ones I really like, however, ill probably end up maining sub-zero like I always do
 
Scorpion and Kitana, with a fair amount of time dedicated to Smoke and Ermac if they're as awesome as they were in UMK3.

What was the biggest difference between UMK3 and MKT? People always seem to mention UMK3 and not Trilogy. I never had UMK3, only MKT for the PSone. Something to do with the number of characters?

Well, in the case of Smoke and Ermac, there's really no difference, and since they were both in UMK3 I didn't see the need to mention Trilogy. MKT did add a number of characters, but lack of testing made them pretty broken (like Rain and Noob). That brokenness is why many prefer not to mention Trilogy.

Oh I see. The reason I asked was because I've played MKT and I've seen videos on UMK3 and didn't see much of a difference between the two. Thanks for clarifying though.

Baraka is in, I can't remember who it was. But somebody who was interviewing the team at their studio caught a guy working on Baraka.
Hopefully someone remembers who this was :)
 
This is really a tough call but right now I am thinking:

1. Shang
2. Raiden
3. Kitana
4. Reptile
5. Kabal

again, hard to say without giving them all a spin.
 
I will probably master Scorpion, but I will definitely learn Sub-Zero, the rest of the ninjas, liu kang, kung lao, raiden, quan chi and shang tsung.

but i will master a few backups: Noob, Reptile, Kung lao, Scorpion....

I agree with you completely. I love the character that most relates to me (Mileena) and I love an underdog (Sheeva). I expect like...maybe 37 Sheeva players. Tops. So it'll feel sooo good to fatality the "mainstream" characters (Scorpion).

Yeah haha, people will laugh when they see I use JC, but little do they know I'm pretty beast with him. I can do some pretty nasty stuff with him in MKII and MKT. Guess I have the psychological edge as well as the element of surprise :P

lol, people always write me off when I use Catwoman in MKDC. #mistake.

I expect the same reaction with Sheeva. That psychological edge DOES work hehe
