look, all these new members who have only just signed up and are pissing and moaning about a game they haven't even played yet, let alone know anything about, what was the point in even signing up? If all you want is gore in a game go play manhunt. I mean it, what was the point in even signing up? Plus, there's plenty of gore in a lot of DC comics, what's to say it won't just make use of each consoles parental settings? Look, if all you're gonna do is write "wah wah wah this isn't exactly 100% the most amazing game anyone has ever made, I'm gonna stop playing mortal kombat forever and send Boon death threats", then do us all a favour and don't bother. If the game is released and it's shit, then whatever, but it hasn't and it might not be, so for f*ck's sake stop crying!
 
Well said! But even so from the interview with Boon the game looks VERY promising. An all new fighting mechanic with all sorts of new features. There WILL be finishers. Unfortunately it's not going to be rated M...but I'm optimistic.
 
I still have hope for this game. I feel Midway will not do "Fatalities" but I hope it's something along the lines of a super combo "IE:Killer Instinct" ending with a death move. I thinking that would go over well with both MK and DC fans.

I don't know how long you been on the MK Community for you to be in a pedestal and tell veterans who probably been here on the community longer than you have to quit ****ing crying when you're doing in right now too. The game might not be out but that does not stop people from voicing their opinion about the obvious truth: This Mortal Kombat game is going to be the biggest tainted piece of crap that has ever smear the name of Mortal Kombat.

I was talking about Worlds Collide. When I highlighted over the one ? it said 4/18 6pm CSt..

Ive been on MKO for years

Im a 16 year MK VET! I have defended this series from the beginning but simply cant do so anymore. You are obviously a DC fan so you are looking forward to this.
 
I agree with Glamador....I can't stand these ungrateful, unpleased, "perfectionist" for MK fans.....I see them all the time on MKO and it sickens me to see the ignorance and arrogance of such crap posted all over the place. I swear some MK fans are seriously hopeless lol, Midway just can't win...you think you can make a better MK game? ha, ha highly doubtful...

A.OMG, OMG soo because we aren't getting fatalities, this means the game will automatically suck right? right...

B.Don't you people(the MK/DC haters) remember a game called MVC2? Even though it's broken to hell, it's still fun and was received well with it's cartoonish look....a point Glamador brought up earlier which I totally agree with, MK vs. DC LOOKS DARK, can you NOT see this people?

C. The MKO interview said Boon says most likely it'll be rated T for teen BUT they will push the limits for an M rating, so don't assume the rating just yet(like it matters anyway...)

D.This match up "concept" wise is no more silly or stupid then Marvel's Venom taking on Ryu....yet people have having a 'crap fit about Sub going up against Batman....:sleep:

E. I love it how after one teaser vid, pics and information of change that fans have been COMPLAINING about constantly for months after day one we immediately get the same old crying, bickering and unappreciate MK fanbase crying up a storm because "they don't like the change" seriously, judging the game WAYYYYYYYYYY before it's even out is just boarderline stupid and a very UNWISE policy. Give it a chance and try to be optimistic...ha, ha like that will happen with certain fans that claim to love MK...

If you truly love MK and are openminded to new ideas, then you'll be fair and NOT judge it many, many months before the games even out. Enough said.

On a personal note I love boths series and feel it'll be a great game, something new to the table. Fans cried they wanted change, Boon said alright we'll give you change, here's your change. Accept it or go ride on another fighting game series in which they're also doing crossovers, DC with Yoda, Vader, SSBB with Snake, MVC games etc, etc....

To be honest I've only been in the 'community' for a few years, but I've been playing since day one when my brother in law brought home MK1 on the Genesis, and loved each game more than the last. I even managed to sit through Special Forces, and even enjoy it to a degree. I wasn't questioning the size of your MK penis, I was just saying what's the point of signing up for a forum if all you're going to do is moan about shit you don't even really know about yet. All these people who keep posting just to say the same thing over and over and threatening to leave and never play MK again should quit whining, and just do it. Leave the 4-or-so of us who are actually optimistic to have constructive conversations. And if you are just signing up to complain, go do it at another forum.
 
People are entitled to their opinion. Even if it is knee-jerk, the world is ending, the sky is falling, etc. A lot of people started to build their own vision of what a completely re-imaging of the series would look like. And when Ed Boon's vision of a new start looks nothing like their vision, kaboom! We get the outcry and derision.

Still it is important that people are able to voice their reaction. Even if it is completely negative. Once it gets closer to when the game is going to be released and more information is being let out, then we'll see if people have the same opinion.
 
Each to their own opinion, but after watching the trailer and seeing those screenshots of Sub-Zero vs. Batman, I'm warming up to the idea! I say go for it!

I'm a little indifferent to the fatalities being replaced seeing how they've been in every single MK game, but if Boon says they're gonna push for an M rating then I'm ok with it.

One match-up my friends and I hope to see is Sub-Zero vs. Mr. Freeze!

At first I was whining and *****ing like others, but Street Fighter and Marvel have had their own versus games, and I believe MK and DC have waited long enough.

Yeah, a lot of people's tones changed I've noticed from negative to very positive now that we've actually seen gameplay.

I'm pumped for this game : )
