Motor Kombat as its own game?

Ed Boon is a lame ass mofo who cant make proper mk games anymore. he has to steal ideas and make them worse like that crap motor kombat. soul calibur 3's create a character is better than mka's, characters move fluidly in tekken 5 and SC3 but not in mka cos they feel like clay.

I dont understand all the hate, i think its a really good game, no matter if its a rip off or not. He loves mario kart, but hates Motor Kombat? hmmmm... Lets not forget Motor Kombat is in its first appearance, and is a side mini game. How can it compete with a game that has been redone over and over, that is a game all by itself? It cant, and it would be stupid to compare the two in the first place. There is no chance Motor Kombat is going to blow away Mario Kart when Mario Kart gets the full attention of a game, while Motor Kombat just gets 20% of the attention Mario kart does.

id be real careful about what you say. you might to liken to a kiss ass to boon and the crappy games he makes now but i dont. and since you're such a stalker you might not want to profess spying on members elsewhere since their activities are not warranted nor required to be spoken of anywhere else.

Well maybe his attitude towards hatred of the game is because this forum is overrun with people who love Mortal Kombat. I don't think you're going to win an arguement of "It's my opinion that MK sucks." because then you're just a loser for going on this forum in a sad attempt to make it known that you hate MK. Because no one here really cares that you do.

The only reason you're getting the attention you are now is for the one pathetic fact that you actually do take the 10 minutes out of your day to make a post that makes absolutely no sense until we see something like "Me hate MK and Edd bon" in your post. Then it makes us wonder why you're not busy with something else in your life instead of taking jabs at a man who most likely will never read your post, and why you're making post in a forum that is for the fans of Mortal Kombat.

It doesn't make a lick of sense. Because by you posting here it's making the forum that much more busy and making it look that much more active. So you're actually helping Mortal Kombat.

its my opinion and i dont hate mk, i hate mk ever since boon took over. tobias walked away when he knew the crappy direction the series was going to go and he got out at the peak of his career. i applaude him.
 
how can tobias top his baby? it would be hard man. you think boon could make a better game than mk? no tobias did what he thought was right and walked. so he made a game and it flopped. big ****ing deal. you think he's shit because of that even though he and ed boon gave you mk1,mk2,mk3,umk3,mkt,mk4,mkgold? oh thats right, you only care what boon does NOW.

LOL im a stalker? Why the hell would i stalk you dude? I just happen to run into a few posts over there that had alot of *****ing in it, and it happened to have your name on it. You must really hate ed boon to go around board to board talking shit about him. Complaining about a perfectly good game.

you people just accept this clunky, crappy, misspelt (in areas) inaccurately game-tested piece of trash as a fantastic game? give me MK2 anyday of the week. at least it didnt have lame side games, lame konquest, lame krypt. mk is about fighting, no frills. none of this extra crap cos boon is a money-grubbing whore bag.
 
I love all the MK games man, I own every game possible for the game boy colour, and advanced, I have the SNES just to play the older games, I kept my N64 so I could play 4 and Mythologies, and I've still got DA, D, and I own Armageddon. I'll admit the newer games aren't as cool now as the earlier ones were then but it's hard to top a game like MKII. Still, I think MK would of kept going north if Tobias had stayed on instead of leaving. Instead it's not going North or South it's just kind of there.

It's still the best fighting game on the market, and I should know I work at Gamestop, you barely see any MK games traded in but I'll get a ton of Soul Calibers or Tekken's traded in all the time.

Mortal Kombat stays strong because of the story line, that's what I love about it. The fact it's not just a game where you kill each other. To me it seems as though each move could tell a story and I like that. I study the story. I read all the ending and watch the MK 4 endings on a weekly basis just so I can try and piece it all together.

The more I think about it, the more I'm glad the storyline doesn't make sense because then I wouldn't have to worry with thinking of what's going on. Now though since I'm actually unsure of what's happening I like to read over it as often as I can.

So don't ever try and say that I'm just a current day fan boy. I was playing MK before you knew how to pick your nose, and wipe your own ass.
 
well im 29 dude so you'd be pushing to think you're older than me. and if you are then id expect more maturity in regards to knowing that mk is a pile of rubbish now.

and if you really like having an mk story which doesnt make sense go get your favourite book, rip out all the pages between the first, and the last, and then read it like that for the rest of your days. THAT is how the mk story is now, full of big ass holes with no explanations.
 
Didn't I just say that's why I like MK? Because it gives you the freedom, even if it may not be on purpose, to come up with your own inbetweens?

Ill never understand why people complain about something extra in the game. Ive seen people say "i wish [insert character] wasnt in the game". Why in the hell would you wish something wasnt in the game? Especially side games? Guess what, you dont have to play them. MK still has fighting.

i second that. It irks me when I always hear people complaining about stuff in games. It's like "so? you didnt make it, and you dont HAVE to buy/play it" it's a choice. take the product for what it is, and get over it. i really dont see the productivity in whining about it, especially to a group of other gamers who really in the end can do absolutely nada about your complaints anyway. just blowing alot of hot air. so, shhhhhhhhhhh....
 
Well technically if they removed things like Motor Kombat they could have more space (and time) to add more characters, arenas, or FATALITIES.
