It's funny, because we've given many possible out comes for what should happen to Noob saibot now that he's been kicked into a soulnado. Yeah we've said you can't just go poof and CSZ is human again, the difference between Bi han and Kuai liang is one just died, change to him shouldn't happen quickly. Bi han was kicked into a Soulnado something has to happen to him. Because not only did he get kicked into it, it imploded because of it.
Missed this earlier as well.
No, I've seen "All" of the possibilities you've thrown out. They are all Noob gets seperated from Saibot. I have discussed that this makes no sense though because who the hell are Noob and Saibot? Either way neither one of them would be Bi-Han. I've said that many times. "ALL" of your arguments center around the same concept. Bi-Han becomes Sub-Zero because he gets seperated from Noob Saibot somehow in the soulnado. I've said that I don't believe that. Mainly because I believe they are one and numerous lines from Noob as well as the shadow ability I told you earlier should prove that he is merely one being with the ability to control shadows. You may think you somehow debunked that, but him being able to spam shadows would imply that indeed there is more that one shadow.
Also, I have thrown out exactly what I think happened to Noob Saibot. I think, just as his ending implies, that Havik most likely pulled him from the soulnado somehow. Yes, it appeared to implode, but like you said none of us know exactly what happened. My guess though is that Havik and Noob Saibot are going to be a team, and with Havik wanting to cause Chaos and Noob Saibot wanting to rule the Netherrealm I believe that indeed he will be against Quan Chi because of the grudge he holds against Quan Chi. Being free of Quan now will allow Noob to try and take over the netherrealm. That will lead Noob Saibot and Havik to HAVE to side with the good side. Regardless of if they want to or not.
I also threw out a reasonable way for Kuai Liang to become human Sub-Zero again. Sareena believing him to be Bi-Han and wanting to aid him would inadvertantly lead her to use either magic or Quan's inner sanctum to revert him to his original form. That's exactly what Quan's inner sanctum does. It reverts Quan to his natural state before he entered battle. So, hypothetically Sareena knows where this is who's to say she wouldn't try and get Sub-Zero there? If it does revert a person to their original form through magic, it would be perfectly fine. Yet, you say that is such a cop out. How is that a cop out when it's an original way? At least it's not a recycled deception storyline which would be just as much of a cop out except it just happens to be in Bi-Han's favor. How come when I come up with ways for Kuai Liang to become human again it's a cop out, or he shouldn't be Sub-Zero again, but when you throw out the same old idea that you have been throwing out I should just accept it as what should happen???
Actually mine is semi recycled, but anyway here is the proof that the inner sanctum could work just as well as your soulnado idea:
Drahmin's ending in Deadly alliance (Non-canon but still let's you know exactly what the inner sanctum can do):
"Drahmin leapt at Quan Chi and both kombatants stumbled into the Inner Sanctum Chamber. Moments later, Drahmin emerged from the chamber altered from his previous form."
If Sareena knew the location of the Inner Sanctum, bam there's a perfect explanation. It would also tie Sareena in well into the story because just saying she sided with the good guys would seem a little off. She would need a reason, and this would be a perfect reason. Plus with Shinnok not being able to leave the Netherrealm yet Sareena could warn Sub-Zero to tell Raiden of the coming invasion. She then leads him to a portal where he then leaves the Netherrealm and he tells Raiden of the coming invasion. Raiden then begins preparing knowing his forces are weakened and sends Sub-Zero (with his knowledge of the Lin Kuei temple) and Sonya (with her knowledge of the tech) to reverse Cyrax's automation and recruit him to the cause.
I don't like giving away that idea because I actually feel as if it is a really good idea and if by some chance NRS saw that and it was what they were going to do it would probably be changed immediately.
Also MKvsDC may not be canon, but it has been discussed many time that things said in that game could in fact be canon. Don't just pay attention to that point though pay attention to Kuai Liang beating Bi-Han fair and square too. There all excuses one way or the other because people will always deny that Kuai Liang is more powerful than Bi-Han even though it's been heavily hinted at many times. Why you think Bi-Han would always have Smoke when he jumped Sub-Zero in the old timeline?
