Baraka was not killed by Jade.

And how do we know Shang was killed? He has so many tricks up his sleeve it's not even funny.

Sindel merely absorbed him. Shang is full of sorcery. He could find a way around it, releasing himself once Sindel was killed.

The dude can morph into anyone he wants.

Change is age.

Absorb souls.

I'm pretty sure he can handle some half-ass Shao Kahn magic.
 
Yeah, Shang Tsung could have released himself from Sindel's soul while watching the battle

We know that absorbed souls can know what's going on in outside considering Liu Kang knew what was going on during the battle between Raiden, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi and Onaga during Deception (Shang Tsung absorbed Liu Kang's soul in addition to killing him in Deadly Alliance). It isn't really a stretch to say that Shang Tsung had some type of tricks up his sleeve even when absorbed

Maybe. Just maybe you are right. Either he's buried/crimated or he's alive as a good, neutral, or evil guy. I say that because of how mad he was at Raiden.

Have to agree with that. Mileena was one of my favorite characters in Deception. The smart assassin lady that fooled Edenia's best armies. So I hate this borderline retarded Mileena in MK9. Hopefully she matures by MK10, but I doubt it.

Ehh, that really has yet to be seen. Baraka really only seems to seek dominance in his own tribe. As much as I would like to have hope in your theory, again you have to look at Deception. When Kahn was presumed dead, Baraka just ran under the next big bad guy :?
 
Well in MK4, Baraka did make a deal with Quan Chi to side with Shinnok's forces in exchange for power (ruling Edenia alongside Quan Chi)

My top 4 characters in MK9 and my possoble top 4 in the next generation of MK characters. The ones who are transparent in this picture are actually dead, meaning that I highly doubt they will make the cut in MK10.

I want her, Jade, and Sindel back sometime in the future! Hopefully in a spin-off game like MKSM. I wouldn't mind if my favorite characters keep dying and won't come back soon but there better be more nasty female characters to play as for me though as each MK game gets released. If they are back in MK10, that would be lovely!!! :-)

The only dead character that I want back is HUMAN Subz, and maybe Liu Kang.
It was kind of ****ed up that Liu Kang finally gets a make-over, and they ended up killing him off anyways. :|
Why the **** even bother with doing that, NRS???

Dumb-shit moves like this are why I believe that HUMAN Sub-Zero can come back in MK10.
