Your ultimate movie adaptation

What would it be, and who would be in it? I'd totally adapt Supreme Power, Marvel's rather adult take on the Justice League story, well worth a read to anyoneinterested enough. I'd definately cast Lawrence Fishbourne as Nighthawk (Their Batman), Probably Jon Barrowman as Hyperion (Superman) and Shaun Wayans as the Blur (Flash). Owen Wilson would be a good Doc Spectrum (Green Lantern) and Angelina Jolie would make a great Zarda (Wonder Woman). Dunno about Amphibian (Aquagirl) as it would require a great deal of prosthetics. As for the badguys, probably Alan Rickman as Emil Burbank (Lex Luthor) and some wrestler or someone as Redstone. I think a film adaptation would be killer.
 
Hmm...well as far as film adaptations go...I could pick almost any video game and wish it had a good adaptation. Since to date there have been...well none. Sure MK was pretty good as a movie, but as an adaptation it wasn't very true to the source material. I'd like to see a Metroid movie personally. I think the story lends itself well to action, intrigue, and it's fast-paced enough that you could squeeze all the content you need into 2 hours. As far as actresses for Samus...I don't know. It would be mostly for voice as I would assume in-suit movement would be done by a body-double. Ridley could be the main bad guy. I'd like it to be a new story though, not a film retelling of Prime or Super Metroid.
 
Weren't they making a Metroid movie like... years ago? What ever happened to that?

The Legacy Of Kain series... God that needs to be a movie. I would probably cast Bill Nighe as Kain, um.... I have no idea about Raziel. But anyways, i would want LoK to become a movie.
 
The LoK series does definately need to be a film, but with the voice acting being so superb in the games, I'd probably just make it CG and keep the voices, minus Tony Jay as the Elder God of course, RIP.
 
A GUN movie would be cool. I don't care who's in it. I love westerns and I think, if done properly, it would translate well to the silver screen.
 
With the fact that Tom Jane did the voice of Cole(?) in GUN, I'd guess he'd be in it. I read on the net that there's gonna be a Prince of Persia film and a Max Payne film out soon, wonder who we'll get?

EDIT: Jake Gyllenhaal as the Prince and Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne, it would seem

I'm so anxious for both of those films because I loved the games so much. If they mess up Sands of Time there will be hell to pay.
 
Yeah, Sands of Time was a great game. didn't like Warrior Within and as a result of that I didn't play Two Thrones, But SoT was awesome. On a different note, the new PoP looks a little... crappy. the Cell Shaded graphics don't suit it.

Johnny Cage= Eric Mabius ( Matt in resident evil 1, ugly betty)
Sonya Blade= Trish Stratus/ Jessica alba
Raiden= Christopher Lambert( was da original and best)
Jax= Jamie fox ( singer)
Kitana= Lucy Lu ( Charlies angels, Oren Ishii in kill bill)
Jade= Zhang Ziyi (crouching tiger)
Mileena=Kelly Hu (lady deathstrike in X-men)
Sub-Zero/scorpion= N e 1 musculey

Are you kidding me? Kane Kosugi doesn't look at all like Liu Kang. Jessica Alba isn't the right body type for Sonya. Jamie Fox is a comedian isn't he? He's not suited for Jax at all. Christopher Lambert is hte first and only, has to be him. Lucy Liu would make a good Kitana, she's usually a badass chick with some sexual tenshion thrown in. Idk about Jade, I'm not too familiar with her. And I'd like to have Mileena be Lucy Liu as well, since she's Kitana's evil clone. And yes, since Sub and Scorp should be masked the whole time it's a good idea to just pick somebody muscular and can act. But make them asian.

lucy coz she looks the nice one but then i did think about having her as Mileena but then Kelly hu looks evil and the characters arnt completely alike so it would be a gd combination to have them kik eachothers ass

what so mean jess alba hasnt the right body, she was in dark ngel and she was prety fne in that, and Kane Kosugi give him shoulder lenght hair and he would be fine lol

Zhang Ziyi as jade would be god coz she is an amazing actress, watch her in house of flying daggers its very sad it actaully made me cry :hail::mrgreen:
 
Well I just can't see Jessica Alba as Sonya...she looks all wrong.

I mean...I'm so bad at explaining subjective things like this, but Jessica Alba looks too frail to me. Whether she likes to act tough characters like DarK Angel is irrelevent, I don't think she looks badass enough to be Sonya.

Yea that'd make a good Kitana/Mileena. Just mess up the teeth. As for the chick from Heroes, I actually think she'd be good as Sonya. It's too bad I hate her with the passion of a thousand suns...dunno why, just do.
