The game just deleted my savegame :cry: :cry: and i was very angry about it (well it happend today). But is this a think that happends much or is it just mijn f*cking game :?:

Hmm, I think I might know a possible way how you accidentally deleted your game. When I go into my Fenix profile on my game and try to go to my Konquest mode. It says "Error has occured" and than you don't expect it and you could've possibly ignored it and thought it was a recommendation or something so you pressed the button "X" as in to skip. But that actually delete's your whole Konquest file including all your characters, levels, concept art, etc. I almost deleted my whole profile too. Unfortunately this is maybe how you deleted your profile.
 
Was it just the file deleted or was it that the memory card F**Ked up?
LOL...I just like swearing.
 
Something similar happened to me last year. It said my konquest file was courrupt. Gave me options to ignore or delete and start over...well I didn't want to delete what I have saved so I ended up not beating konquest mode (100%, i beat it though) So I think its the file, not memory card.
 
Every time I complete a game on my bro's PS2... I back it up on a second memory card.

:) As a 'just in case' safe measure
 
Either that or you turned off your PS2 while it was saving. So remember DO NOT RESET OR POWER OFF THE SYSTEM WHILE IT IS SAVING!
 
Something similar happened to me last year. It said my konquest file was courrupt. Gave me options to ignore or delete and start over...well I didn't want to delete what I have saved so I ended up not beating konquest mode (100%, i beat it though) So I think its the file, not memory card.

Yeah exactly man, I am sure I didn't reset the PS2 when it was saving because trust me, I make pretty damn sure. Phew, at least I beat all of Konquest before it went corrupt, since I was playing nonstop for days.
 
this happened to me a week ago and it pissed me off because all information about MKD on my memory card got deleted by it self.
 
Yea, that happened to me too. I had everything 100 percent unlocked, and then the next day dead...

Okay, this could be the problem. After doing conquest or beating the arcade mode, you have an autosave procedure. Now, it says "game is saving blah blah blah". After that it says "Done saving". The problem is, you might have thought that it was done saving, and shut it off. However, the game saves 2 times. I think 1 time is for koins and the other is for unlockable endings...although Im not sure

I think thats what happened, but I cannot fully be sure
 
If thats the case, just don't turn the game off outside of the main menu. Easy solution, but strange circumstances none the less. So far my bro's PS2 memory cards haven't done this with my file. But bummers, you've got to do konquest mode all over again (I feel sorry for you).
 
You know, IDK wat you're so angry about...I reset my game just for fun. A while after MK:D came out for GCN I reset my Xbox save and redid it all, unlocking every last bit of the Krypt, and when I ended up getting it for GCN I did the same thing (but it was new so I hadn't done it before obviously). I mean it's no fun just having nothing to do, Konquest is the most entertaining part of the game.

I think its save first then load. But it's much safer to turn off the console
at the main menu like Angel said
