With animalities, brutalities, friendships, missing stage fatalities,no mercy, tournaments with the boxes to choose from at the end like supreme demonstration, hidden battles,etc... I love mk9 n id really hate for them to just focus on next Gen. Yeah next Gen is perfect for them to do what they want but the 360 n ps3 still hold the market n they'd be foolish not to go after it from a business perspective.

Idk if you know how the industry works, but mk9 had its time and now it's over. It's been over for a while. Doing that would take resources away from their next projects along with money. Not to mention most people wouldn't put out the money for a couple ad ons for a game that came out 3 years ago. They had their komplete edition and that would be the end of it. Not being mean, but it's just not gonna happen cause it would really just be a waste.

What business perspective? Many of the consumers have moved on to other games within a year. MK9 is 3 years old already.

I stopped caring for fatalities after seeing them several times. I doubt the other finishers will fare any better.

The only reason I would have ever want an ultimate edition out (2 years ago) would have been for classic MK1 thru UMK3 non-"ninja" character costumes.
That time has come and passed, though, and NRS should either focus on MK10 (which may be called Mortal Kombat 2, according the the resume of the Kitana and Mileena voice actress), or an action adventure game.

lol people are not going to buy MK9 again just because because it has new finishing moves. MK9's time came and went. They should be focusing everything on MK10 now. The Komplete Edition for Vita IS UMK9 as far as im concerned

Pretty much everyone has said the answer. If it was like, 2012, then maybe I'd be down to see additional content be added. However, the game is going to be three years old this summer, there's really no reason to continue adding things to it when there's already been hints and reveals that they're working on the next game.

Besides, what you mention on what they should add isn't something that's worth like $30+ to get. I mean, I really wouldn't go out of my way to get an addition that had animalities or stage fatalities. That could have all easily been apart of a big update for DLC or something, not an expansion pack to the game itself. This isn't The Sims.

Street Fighter IV came out 6 years ago, and a new version is still coming out. Just because MK9 is 3 years old doesn't mean it couldn't have an updated version. They would just have to make it worth while and they could also have a $40 price tag for an ultimate version. For me to justify buying it, it would need at least 5 new characters.
