Why the Hell are Reptile's DLC going for $50-80 on eBay?

While I agree that paying 50 or more for a Reptile code is extremely high, I am not opposed to paying the little extra for not having to wait on some unknown DLC release date. It just has to be more reasonable than 50.
And I also agree that the classic costume is SO much better than the regular attire that they give him.

I paid £5 for three codes. That gave me 3 costumes and 2 fatalities. I sold a copy of the game to a mate at that £5 discount as he didn't care about the codes. There's no way in hell I would have paid any more for even 1 code. Can't believe the figures I'm seeing in this thread.

$250 for a Max Head, worthless item that does nothing except sit on your head, making you easier to snipe....

Because people are stupid. They are impatient. And they have no financial sense. As I've said consistently, I will see the price of the DLC pack coming soon and laugh my ass off at everyone who spent all that money to obtain one DLC costume and a third fatality for Sub, Scorp or Reptile. To be honest, I look back and wish that I sold my Scorpion code to take advantage of the stupidity.

Exactly. There will always be people out there who want something so bad, they will spend anything on it.
