Why is sheeva so damn low on the tier list

everyone said CSZ was awful until that dude played really well with him at that big tourney...then a lot of people changed their tune.

I think she is low tier becuase not many people give her the time to have that many good Sheevas. I don't give her time because I don't like the art, detail or animation with her in MK9. She looks like she has been rather rushed and had far less love than the more popular characters.

Nice videos, I don't use the ground stomp enough, especially not on wake up. Anyone notice, that Ermac player played exactly the same way as the other millions of ermac players out there?
That combo you see is Ermac's best combo honestly. In case you haven't noticed, it's not like Ermac has many mix-up options. Ermac is my second main, not as good as Nightwolf, and I must confess do that combo a lot, BUT I just adore to do his F4, 4 over and over again (being a low) and his B1, 1, 4 is incredibly safe (something which B1, 1, slam is far from being). I would be insane to do his slam often since that screams "PUNISH ME!" if my opponent blocks. And also when I rush, I like to do slam followed by a jump kick and air projectile since it puts my opponent away from me. Well, I like to play with variety, even though I DO get what you're saying, I have to stand up for Ermac here.

Just played a badass Sheeva in a king of the hill room. He/she crushed everyone without much resistance. This thread is the devil!

This dude plays a fantastic Sheeva.

Scorpion is an easy match from an average player, but I am impress with Sheeva's effective gameplay against Sub-Zero and Ermac, IMO, two of the best characters in the game.

Honestly, I was not impressed; Yes, he was the best Sheeva player I've seen, but he wiffed too many of his specials (not to mention the apperent inability to do his Jump move) for me to consider him good.

It was a nice showcase of Sheeva, though.

I recognize that Sheeva player's tag, I can't remember from where though. It's kinda driving me nuts lol. Either way, a pretty strong Sheeva. There were some noticeable execution issues, but those can be ironed out pretty easily with more practice. Some solid tactics, great job of taking advantage of the overall lack of match-up knowledge against Sheeva, and overall making people uncomfortable with Sheeva's unblockables. Definitely the best Sheeva I've seen play yet.

PS - Sorry to that guy but I have to say it, that Scorpion was terrible! Okay, I feel a little better now. It's not healthy to hold things in lol.

This player wasn't very fantastic. That sub-zero didn't do ice clones when that sheeva teleported. That scorpion had no clue what to do.

That was the best sheeva player i had ever seen, but it's not saying much.

I agree ive seen better Sheevas, well maybe one better one considering u never seen them. I picked her up bout a week ago.Alot of guys have to do 10 hit combos to do what she can in four. That pop up combo into the ex grab is nasty.Shes def underrated. But thats the ppl i usually pick anyway, like Spinal from KI or Dan from SSF4.

If a Sub-Zero does his ice ball, Sheeva should do U, D following the right direction Sub-Zero stands and she will land on him and not on his clone.

On that video per se, thay sub zero could have baited the teleport. When sheevas up in the air, you can ice clone so sheeva can land on it. Is the timing difficult on it? It's pretty simple like a scorpion telepunch or a noob upknee. I'm just saying a Good player would know that, and apparently that sub zero wasn't

You can decide where to land with Sheeva's teleport. Her teleport has the same mechanics as Quan Chi's, not like Noob Saibot's at all. You can land on your opponent, behind him or in front of him. Plus, that Sheeva player barely did her teleport, it was not like he wa spamming nor anything like that. The reason why I feel he is a "fantastic" player is because he's showing that to play Sheeva you don't have to go over-the-top combo-wise. Sheeva has true damage power for very few combo and that is what you have to use Sheeva for IMO

Even though I do disagree with his strategy: when you land on your opponent after her teleport, the most effective move to do is grab her or do her special medium grab or simply do F4. Sheeva can be deadly up close.

Thats an interesting though but my mains for mk3 is sheeva and mileena(also my main for mk2) my mains for mortal kombat trilogy is khameleon sheeva kintaro goro mileena kitana
My mains for mortal kombat Armageddon(which is the best game throughout the whole entire series because of it's roster and gameplay it's amazing) is khameleon sheeva goro kintaro mileena kitana
Mortal kombat 2011 my main is sheeva skarlet mileena kitana jade(who is also my main in mk3 mkt and Mka(wii) ) so tell me is there any weak points to any of these characters that I should be aware of or no

Sheeva's teleport stomp is easy to see coming and can be countered easily by jumping away. Or if you're Sektor, you can counter with your own teleport uppercut into a combo. :p
