As already said by someone else, we've had this discussion before. If you want that to be a figure, it is... If you don't, its a ball of fire.
 
i have a confession...Ed Boon came to this board and when he saw how awesome i looked in real life he emailed me and asked if i wanted to be the new hero in konquest so i said for hell yeah. So thats me in my ninja suit, and BTW i also am covered around with fire and my sword and arrows i use in the game are on fire too. aint i awesome?

yeah um...useless post ^^

What I want to know is why throughout the whole backround there isn't any parts that resemble anything, only in that one spot. Who knows, it could just be a texture thing that just resembles a person.
 
It dosen't look like an actual character. It's probably just a slew of evil clouds or sometin like that. Or maybe the artist of the pic put it there to catch viewers eyes...
 
Its possibly be that there is something beyond that firey background thats beem used. They probably played around with the background, adding stuff until they were satisfied. The fireball is weakest there, so some of it may be slipping through.

It reminds me of those bodies on the crosses in the movie really.
