Who do you want for DLC? My list...

This is my top 10 list (20 with both sides) for downloadable characters. I know that there will most likely be nowhere near this many slots, but it's wishful thinking on my part. I based my match-ups on popularity, body type, character actions, and how well they mesh with each other as allies or enemies. In no particular order...

Nightwing vs Johnny Cage
Hawk Girl vs Reptile
Martian Manhunter vs Quan Chi
Green Arrow vs Nightwolf
Zatanna vs Sindel
Aquaman vs Noob Saibot
Poison Ivy vs Mileena
Lobo vs Goro
Brainiac vs Shinnok
Gorilla Grodd vs Onaga

I can't think of too many more DC people I want in the game...there's just too many of 'em.
 
In one of the MKasts they mentioned doing everything possible to make downloading additional content/characters for this game a reality. I personally think they will probably have about 3 or 4 per side available for download, but that's only my speculation.
 
I'm not good at match ups, but I can dream. I have a few wanted characters on each side.

I'm not a fan of DLC and have never paid for anything. If they were to be free then go for it, add as much stuff as you like :D Burnout Paradise is a great game that shows how it should be done, so much extra stuff for nothing. The way I see it is I've already gave you £40 for a game so you don't deserve any more!

Would love to see Kung Lao and Reptile added though ;)
 
And why shouldn't they get paid for more content? There's no incentive to make new content if you arn't expecting a paycheck for it. Why work for free?

As long as the content is developed after the game is released and it's not a two-bit ploy to milk you for locked content already on the disc then I'm fine with it. However, if the game was uncomplete to begin with and they try to pass off fixing their mistakes as DLC I don't fall for that either.
 
Usually because of the price DLC content costs compared to what you actually get. When you think a game costs £40 and then most DLC can be anything up to £5 or over, it's a lot of money considering how much you've already paid. If it's a patch or something to fix a bug then that should obviously be free. The rest should just be there way of improving the game for you and maybe getting new people to buy it. A lot of times they even re-release the game a little later with all the stuff you've downloaded . Some stuff gets made free after a while anyway so it just seems like a way of trying to milk even more money out of you!

From the MK1/2 era its hard because I already like the selection of characters here.

Ah...

if they'd allow it, I would have Ermac since his an old fav. But for the MK 1/2 era as I've said, its been covered. Suprised no J.Cage but not missing his absence.
 
I forgot about Dr. Fate. Wouldn't he be a perfect match for Havik? I'd like to see that matchup. Havik is probably my favorite character since MKM.

Didn't Boon say that this was between MK II and MK3? If that's the case, then it makes perfect sense why Johnny Cage didn't make it into the game...He died!

Obviously Goro and Lobo.
And without putting them as pairups, from the DC side I'd like to see Powergirl, Hitman, Deadman, Linda Danvers, Black Adam, Azrael, Bane, Doomsday, Batzarro, the list is pretty endless. For MK, it's Ermac, Havik, Reptile, Frost, Nitara, Stryker (if he's a bit more like MKA), Reiko, Shinnok.
 
I would pay any amount of money for Stryker NOT to be in the game...or ANY game from now on for that matter.

Or was thought to be anyway lol, you know what Vogel says "In Mortal Kombat, nobody really dies" lol
 
Booster Gold and Johnny are certainly a perfect match. Bumblers that just can't seem to win, charismatic and likeable, but generally made out to be morons and ridiculed constantly.
