Which evil character should turn good?

I think Goro should turn good.

After MK4 it seemed like it was going in that direction. I'd like to see them take that path and stick to it this time around. With Kintaro fighting along Kahn's side, it'd be cool to have a big enforcer on the side of good.
 
The problem is that Goro is such a traitor. He sided Kitana, but in that non canon ending, he kills her. Even though it was non canon, it shows how he would act if that happened. If he turn to be good, he need to be good once and for all.
 
Just a idea, i know it wouldn't happen but what if Kano fought on the side of good. Now im not saying he turns good. Just that with Shao Kahn gone he is no longer in favor with the New Emperor Kotal Kahn an has been on the run in Outworld. He sides with the Forces of good because it suites his agenda whatever it maybe.

Just a thought

He actually did turn good starting at MK4. Then that got ruined by a half-assed writing job in an attempt to sell Deception on the GameCube. Something about Shao Kahn's silver tongue turning him evil again. Why Goro would fall for such shit, KNOWING that Shao Kahn was previously committing genocide against his Shokan race, I will never know.

That was totally useless. I just hate when you see something then someone (oficially) comes up with "No! That was a lie! In fact the truth is THIS".

I can tell many things like this, but the last one was Shang Tsung not dying.

That would be pretty cool actually. I imagine Goro and Kintaro having a rivalry. Maybe having them playable wouldn't be so bad either.

I agree.

Now knowing that we can revisit old characters and places like before and on that same time, well, I see the reboot better than I saw before, but you are still right.

And they started with many changes. You see the Taven thing. This will have issues in the future, maybe they reboot everything again on 2024...

If Reptile is in then I think he's going to pull this off. Shao Kahn is dead, possibly he won't go near the Dragon Egg so the only change has to be is that he should not align with Shinnok & Quan Chi. It is possible he joins the new ruler of Outworld, but if Raiden & co promise him to free his realm with the defeat of Kotal... Would be a great story, and he's the only MK9 character I definitely want to see again!
 
Iv recently been leaning towards Goro allying himself (and the Shokan) with the good guys.
I think the Shokan definitely need some redeeming...they should know better then to just ally themselves with whoever is emperor at the time. Id really like to see some Shokan train with the Shaolin Monks.
Maybe we could see a smaller, more agile four armed warrior..

They already went that route once. Starting with MK3, actually. Then all of a sudden, Midway throws that in the trash just so they can sell Deception on the GameCube! They should never have broken the whole "Shokan turning good" storyline.

wait a minute...MK3?
i thought it was just MK4 that he turned good. I'm guessing i missed something haha

anyway, i really think they should go down that route again...They more then likely wont though. Goro's way easier for them if he just stays bad.
Something i thought might be cool is if the Shokan split up...Half stay in Outworld, the other half goes to Earthrealm.
Maybe there could be a third racial variation within the Shokan that was long forgotten..They have a dragon variation and a tiger variation, so what if there was a third one that 's been hiding out there.

It started with Sheeva's MK3 bio. I know I said the good Shokan part started in MK4, but I had forgotten about Sheeva's role in MK3.

Anyway, MK3 was when dissension between Shao Kahn and the Shokan really began (this started with him appointing Motaro, a member of a rival race, to lead the Extermination Squads, much to the chagrin of the Shokan), and that eventually turned the Shokan against Shao Kahn, and led to Goro turning good in MK4.
