what is the best fighting style?

it is a very good question because some are very fast, some are slow but powerful like hookswords, and other are very distabilisating like tang soo do, but what is the best?
as for me i will say shotokan is very polyvalent and tang soo do is cool! but they're too many and in this way i need your point of view!

I'd say Hapkido is the best Fighting style and Hookswords are the best weapon
 
as for me, i think that hook swords are the best weapon, but as martial art and fight sport i don't konw they have the same values, tang soo do is cool, buti will say shotokan because i practived it and it is a very good karate :D contrary to shotokaï which is shit!! :lol:
and sub zero'"s shotokan is as cool as the shotokan i practiced!
because it is the same moves, the position of sub is gedan barai a basic defense which protect your abdos!
 
Not to be a follower, but I'd also have to say Hapkido. It's the only style I really know inside and out and feel extremely comfortable with.
 
i think taht hookswords is the moos powerful weapon cause with kabal i dominate onage and dooing 35% combos with it

hapkido is cool i agree but tang soo do is cool also
the wors is le ban fha from hotaru!!! :lol:

oh bo rai cho is powerful, without staff he can do a 34% combo damage 4hits!
 
For me, anything that doesn't make me stand around like a complete gimp. :wink:

On an alternate note, which fighting styles would you like to see in the next MK game? I'd love to see Krav Maga and Gatka in action in an up-and-coming title.

BTW, Krav Maga is the self-defense method of the Isreali forces. Gatka is a weapons-based martial art developed by the Sikhs in Punjab, India. And a weapon style? A mace. 8)
