what difficulty setting do you have it on?

Beginner for Arcade Ladder with characters I dont care to play as. Otherwise I can play Expert pretty well although Kahn is a real pain.
 
On Arcade I used to hit up Easy/Begginer so I could coast through it quickly, and for Story I did it on Medium for most of the way. Then I switched to Easy in order to progress faster so I could see what happens. I hardly play either anymore.
 
I play on medium for fun.

Expert is hard. I have beaten one ladder on expert and lost lots of rounds and matches. I can do a medium ladder without losing a round if I try hard, so maybe I'll do hard difficulty and build up to perfection in expert.
 
Well, I've beaten Arcade Ladder with everyone on Beginner. But with some of my favorite characters, I've tried higher difficulty levels, including Expert. I really can't see myself playing above Medium regularly though.
 
It varies for me, depends on how I'm feeling. If I want a challenge I'll do it on expert, if I wanna learn a character I'll do medium.
 
I finally completed the Expert Ladder without continuing today at 11:30am exactly. I will never play it on Expert again after this, only hard and below. Oh and I achieved the "Ladder Master" trophy with Kabal.
 
sorry to bring this thread back up but i recently been playing it on hard and doing decently(last time i made it to shao kahn with sonya and kano) and i still cannot seem to beat kahn in the easiest mode at storymode, if i can get up to him in team tag ladder mode on hard should i be able to beat him on the easiest setting in story mode?

i only played the game between 24 and 36 hours and i went from the easiest setting to hard so im pretty happy with that but annoyed i still cannot beat shao kahn the second time in story mode

Depends on what I'm trying to do unlocking hidden fights on beginner that darn xray stat medium otherwise expert only Khan gives me trouble always end up one round away from ladder master
 
Hard-Expert always.

The only time I went less is trying to get Arcade Champion playing with characters I dislike, and getting tons of flawless wins for koins when I wanted everything in the Krypt.

same here i cannot stand Khan almost ruins the game for me, its a fun game but even fighting him on Beginner is such a chore, give me a boss that is as hard as him and make him fun to fight then i'll fight him for hours at a time till i can win but its such a chore to fight him, i just cannot stand him
 
You have to learn the tendencies of Khan on the higher difficulties. Spamming projectiles and teleports won't cut it. Teleport when he throws the stunhammer, projectile when he taunts/throws the spear. Throw in some combos at the right moment. Use your X-rays wisely, etc. Be patient. Before I got my Ladder Master Trophy, I would get to Shao Khan, and just keep continuing, and continuing until I learned how to beat him with my main. That way I'd be ready when I got to him.

I will say playing on Hard-Expert is more of a challenge to me than online play. I do the Ladder A LOT.

thank you for the advice the main problem i am having is i suck with raiden i do not like him as a character(i know he is one of the best in the game) and i just find it very hard to devote time to trying to beat kahn with raiden because instead of doing that fight i could be doing something fun in the game so i always opt for that instead, i need to just focus on that last fight though
