Why doesn't Smoke have a weapon? I can understand for like boss characters who are already really powerful, or the less popular characters, but Smoke is popular enough to even make it to the top row!

P.S. Just out of curiousity, what do u think his weapon would be?
 
Well I just said that because it just seemed like more popular people on the top row (i.e. Scorpion) and idk. I just dont understand why they would make a new style for him and not give him a weapon...slightly saddening...
 
I don't see why it's a problem at all. He has 2 VERY powerful styles which do HUGE amounts of damage in VERY few hits. And you take increased damage in a weapon style so now he doesn't have that weakness. There is no importance to having a weapon except for it looks cool. I'm dissapointed there were not more people with two weapons or two hand-to-hands.
 
I know it's not bad, but I'm just the type of person that's very curious about things. So I always wonder what at least it would have been.
 
I think his weapon would be a trident of some sort, becuase his spear in classic MK was a trident.

Either that...or a huge salami stick.

He could have had Cyrax's gun from MKG but that would have been a bit unfair, and another puseblade would be boring. Since they already robbed the crap out of lucas giving the cyborgs lightsabres and making Sektor sound like Darth Vader in konquest, they might as well give him a double ended pulseblade. Actually, I'd have liked that.

Or he could have pilfered the ice sceptre while he was in the Lin Kuei temple.

But I do like him without a weapon. It's like I said about Noob/Smoke in MKD, Smoke IS a weapon. But Noobs Troll Hammer is awesome.
