Target: Every Character of the Mortal Kombat Video Game Series, drawn by a different Artist
This is a very big Fan Art Project in the Making, it will grow with every entry submitted by the Artists who claimed a Character from the games

The first Fan Art, for Cyber Sub Zero by Mawnbak was completed yesterday night already, it can be seen here as the first part of the Project http://www.game-art-hq.com/mortal-kombat-immortal-fan-art-tribute-cyber-sub-zero/
The Project started as a small Idea to celebrate a Mortal Kombat Group on Deviantart http://mk-rebirth.deviantart.com/
Users of the Group found the Idea great and so it came to be that we started the probably biggest Fan Art Project ever done for the Mortal Kombat Series.
Around 80 Artists are needed to finish this Project since its the goal that every character gets drawn by a different Artist.
There are some very talented artists onboard, like Esau13, MadiBlitz, Humida, Zakuman and more.
The project was announced just 3 days ago, that we have nearly 40 artists onboard and one piece ready showed the big Interest.
While the organization etc takes place on Deviantart, TRMK Members whi can and want to be a part of this big project are welcome to claim a character via this thread, or on Deviantart or Game-Art-HQ

The Project and its entries will most likely be seen many thousand times, i saw that DA users shared the news about it via facebook, twitter and other sites.
Every artist gets of course mentioned and also a link to his homepage, DA profile , whatever is prefered.
There is no commercial interest in this project, i am not like the Udon group which does big tribute contests, gets professional made fan art and sells them in books

As a MK fan since the first part (on snes) this is damn awesome for me to see that fan art projects like this are possible today...i am quite sure it will turn out quite great. Hell..even Hsu Hao and Moloch are claimed and in the works already!
