Variations DLC ?

The constant DLC that is shoved in the faces of consumers, especially on day 1, is one of the reasons why I am growing dissapointed with the video game industry.

No to variations DLC.

That said, though, I do hope to find out more about these "bare bones" rumored 4th variations that Ed was thinking of doing for competitive purpose.

Making Variation DLC for only a selected few characters in the game would make it completely unbalanced! It is a gameplay issue, and giving a few characters something more to choose from than the rest is totally unacceptable. Not giving all characters some more costumes, as they did in MK9, is unfair, but it has no effect on the balance of the game. A completely new Variation does!

So no to Variation DLC!

My sentiments exactly.

Even though they could balance the add-on variations to be on par with every other variation, the character with more variations than others would gain leverage to the extent that all the competitive players would play only as him or her most probably. So no.

No thanks, I would rather have additional characters, additional skins/costumes, and story mode add-ons for DLC. 3 variations are enough.
