I always thought the stage transitions were awesome. I'd go out of my way to do an uppercut just because of how ****ing cool it looked (although I don't do that now). Honestly, I've kind of been waiting for them to bring 'em back since... like, forever.
If they were included, however, an option to disable them would still be welcomed.
I voted "No". I never got to enjoy some stages due to this feature (ex: scorpion's lair). Usually in the first 10 seconds, someone eats an uppercut and the stage changes...
The 2.5D Plane and 3D Element wont allow it thats why they made death traps in the 6th generation
it would be kool 2 see it again as well as a option in the settings to turn it on or off
I vote no. I didn't like them before, transitions through levels were lame and I hated leaving Scorpion's lair early in a match. I'd rather have more stage fatalities as far as level options go.
The most surprising thing is that the majority of responses say no but the poll is overwhelmingly on the "Yes" side. I never liked that feature in MK3, especially since most of the stages in MK3 sucked, and if you wound up uppercutting to the other stage, you change the stage rotation and skip out on a stage you might actually like (the Pit 3, for example).
All that time it takes to create and develop a level. Than in 5 seconds that completely goes down the drain as you are in a new level. We should be able to stay in one level and absorb and appreciate the lovely art work etc in the stage...
Wow I would never have guessed the poll would be so close! I think the best solution is that IF it is in the game, we should have the ability to turn it off. The stages are so detailed that I will be watching them more than concentrating on the fighting....and if the stage changes all of a sudden because of an uppercut, then I would be pissed lol. The more choices we have for customization of the game, the better.
