Tweaks to the fatalities.

Ok I'm not complaining about the fatalities just minor changes I would like to see.

Kotal Kahn- Instead of the straight cut across the chest I was hoping from the trailer that he would cut a flap and the skin would hang down showing the ribs before the heart rip.

D'Vorah- Instead of the 2 random holes I would prefer the bugs to enter the chest and come pouring out of the mouth as they eat their way out. The skull stomp at the end is awesome tho.


Sub-Zero- Don't get the whole ripping in half thing. really thought from the trailer that it was going to be a nod to spine rip. Just break the backbone and pull the head down and out of the hole.

Scorpion- Cool fatality from what I have seen and from what I have heard the ending is but some time I feel like they have a setup that doesn't pay off and goes off in another direction. Why expose the heart in such away and do nothing with it. Spear it and pull it out or throw a sword at it. Come on you're Scorpion after all.

Ferra/Torr- Cool fatality although one that doesn't really stand out to me. Nothing I can come up with to improve it.

Cassie Cage- PERFECTION!

No. Spine Rip has been done to death.
The MK X one is a nod to the UMK3 Unmasked Sub-Zero fatality when he tears the opponent in half over his head, and slams him to the ground.
 
It's somewhat of a nod... Subzy still rips the spine out of the body. Just uses a different method. We all know spine related ripping is his sig fatality.
 
I'm actually sick of the extensive spine ripping with Subby.

In all MK9 fatalities we see the spine 3 fatalities. Please tell me I'm not the only one.

Sub Zero- Pretty cool Fatality as is but i my tweak to it would be once he has you up over his head, he begins to freeze the opponents midsection then rips them in half. (I think the ice factor would make it all the better)

Cassie Cage- Once again a pretty cool fatality for something so simple. But my tweak would be instead of the kill shot to the head, she shoots their shoulders so the opponent is completely defenseless & then Cassie walks up to the opponent, and at point blank range blows the opponent head off. (Small entry point in the front, back of opponents head blown out)

Are you serious?
That's in a MK3 level of stupidity, right next to Kano ripping your skeleton through your mouth.
What do you think a human body is?
A sock put over the skeleton?

The fatality doesn't end there.
I haven't seen it, but from what I've heard, I'd say it does deliver.
 
Urgh, some of you of guys are so blood lust. I never really cared for fatalities.

In fact I find X-Rays much cooler. They're an excellent addition to this new gen of MK games.
 
tweak for Cassie fatality, she shoots but misses, Sonya walks in and holds Cassies hand and helps her shoot the opponent in the head

Um...that's what we call, in the industry, sacrilege. X-Rays are cool and all but Fatalities are the heart and soul of MK.
 
The only fatalities I don't care for are the superfluous ones. The ones that annoyed me the most in the last edition were Kung Lao cutting off the head then slicing the body in half or Cage decapitating the body then ripping off the torso. They just seem in excess, since the victim is already dead.

At the very least I feel the move should add personality to the character. I feel they did it right with D'Vorah smashing the skull or Cassie putting bubble gum on the open wound.
