Are those trucks related to Mr. Grimm?

I don't know about that. I think that Mr. Grimm drives his cycle into the monster truck and then drives it with a dude from his gang. The brothers Grimm look so devastating too, the way they destroy everything.

That trailer RULED! I seriously can't wait for this game to come out, looks like a lot of fun. Dang, now I want to play Twisted Metal 1, 2, and Black! (TM:B being my personal favorite)

I'm about to buy TM:B again because my is pretty screwed up. And this time, on an HDTV. :D

Is the axel a timed exclusive?

I don't think so, I think he is just an exclusive for preordering at Gamestop until release.

I KNOW! I heard his music and I thought. This is classic Twisted Metal. TIME FOR BAD ASSERY TO OCCUR!
 
Even though I hate the idea of pre order incentives, there is no way I'm missing out on this game.
And I love Axel's new special move.

Always hated his stupid shockwave.

Definitely a plus. After watching the trailer again, it seems like the developers are blending everything we love from all the Twisted Metal games into one complete bad ass package. MUST. PREORDER. NOW!
 
I watched the new trailer again.
I'm glad they got rid of Grimm's side car minigun.
It made sense, but didn't really look to great imo.
 
I'm really hyped for this...

and even more hyped that we all will be playing as a team. Should be mad fun.

Its going to be soo unbalanced at first :laugh:




But why not make gameplay predictions like we did with MK?
I'm thinking we need about at least 3 Axels when playing 16(?) player Nuke mode.
This way they can use their Spike Tire special and pave a way for the person who captures the leader.

2 Axels are offensive and one defensive.
One stays with our leader and uses his Shockwave special (If they bring it back from the older games) to knock them off the platform.
Then we have our defensive Grimms (?) take them out with their ultra powerful Flame Saw.

Also Mr Grimm's aren't they also weak(HP wise) normally? So we could have one tough high defense vehicle for defense WITH Mr. Grimm for a balanced damage taker and damage giver.

You're right. Maybe Junkyard Dog since his specials have the options to either damage or heal.

This is true too, we would also need a sniper or two.
Just in case they come up with the same strategy, and so we can snipe their sniper so our copters can fly free.

I wonder if you can kamikaze your copter into the missile to stop it.

haha that would be worth it if it was possible.

Also another question I bring up. I wonder if each car/vehicle is going to be complicated/different enough it's gonna take work to get good with multiple vehicles. Or if it's well rounded and easy to switch between vehicles?

Like in a fighter you kinda have to main 1-4 characters at most to be effecient with them. So like lets say I play I dunno helicopter, I get really good with it. But it's also a good skill to be diverse.

So should we have like MAINS that we perfect our skills with cars. Or should we struggle to be extremely diverse or have a mix of dedicated drivers and diverse?
