ECW! ECW! ECW! ECW! ECW! ECW!

This is great news for ECW fans, however I think that they should have done this last year. Before and after ONS, ECW had momentum, everyone was into it, and they still had ECW talent that is now gone. Hopefully they can renew the momentum that they had last year before One Night Stand. With Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer doing the booking, it should be the ECW that we know and love.... But I guess time will tell.

The word is that thaey will be using up and coming talent from the WWE's development feds. I think that's great at least it won't just be run down old talent brought back for nostalga purposes.

No offense to Sandman, but you know what I mean!

I still think they need to have talent that is synonymous with ECW, such as Sandman, Sabu, etc. as well as new talent. I cant wait to see an ECW tv show. Kinda getting goose bumps just thinking about it. I also wonder if they will have real music, or the WWE produced crap that they used at ONS.

RVD is way overdue for a title run, of course I agree with most of you if he should win at ONS he will probably lose it shortly thereafter.

Well WWE purchased the license to play "Enter Sandman" for last years ONS. So fingers crossed.

it is when his movie comes out, but kanes got this crappy storeyline where something happened in his past on May 19 thats turning him psycho. I dont know what it is, but it cant be any worse than that storeyline where he murdered someone, that was sh*t!

Real creepy to hear about! That's going to be hot, but Kane should taken care of that problem already! If not, he should go to anger management. That movie is kind of intense.

I can't wait to see the movie, but did you see what he did to the Big Show? It was like watching a preview of the movie.

remember the comically huge bandage he had on his hand when the game smashed it with a sledgehammer? He'll probably have a bandage twice the size of his head wrapped round his face!

Breaking News: Velocity Cancelled, ECW To Take Its Place

Breaking News: Velocity Cancelled, ECW To Take Its Place

04/28/2006 - At the end of some meetings yesterday, Vince McMahon decided that ECW will be taking the place of WWE Velocity.

For the time being, an ECW show will be taped prior to Smackdown every Tuesday. The ECW program will air on WWE.com (or probably actually ECW.com) for the time being, at least until it lands a time slot on U.S. television. WWE are currently in negotiations in an attempt to get ECW programming on U.S. television.

At the present moment, Velocity would cease to exist. This television programming move must be devastating news to the likes of The Gymini, Orlando Jordan, Scotty 2 Hotty and Sylvan. These wrestlers generally only compete on Velocity for the most part, not to mention that they don't have any ties to ECW. However, WWE are looking to regularly run some ECW shows at some 2,000-6,000 seat arenas in smaller markets starting in July, especially in the Northeast. Velocity would probably be brought back if and when the ECW tapings are held at the smaller arenas.

WWE plans on launching the ECW brand a few weeks after ECW One Night Stand takes place. WWE are looking to run an ECW event at the old "ECW Arena" (New Alhambra Sports and Entertainment Complex) on Saturday, June 24th.
