Second match it was Jade vs. Kitana and he got amazing corner combos in but I still won through EX boomerangs and overheads.

Great games mate, you happen to use two characters that give me so many problems but, regardless, you kept me out very well and obliterated me.
 
DaFunk, you're facing Jbell0 in the first part of the Losers Bracket. Go to post 2 of this thread to go check it out! :D
 
The Losers Bracket is like a mini tournie it itself. I got the idea from SAIX who suggested it, and said it'd be cool to have someone come out as "King of the Losers", so I made that.

Also it ensured that EVERYONE got the chance to, at the very least, play against two opponents.

There will be a "third place" in the Main Tournie and one in the Losers Bracket as well.
 
I beat ivital 3-0

First match was jade vs sz, then jade vs mileena remaining matches. All were very close and intense.

im still pissed off at the matches we had... Dont get me wrong they were good games. its just i had so much on my mind when we were playing i couldnt focus and read what you were doing.. Then i had like only 5 mins to practice i didnt have a chance to play a few player matches to prepare my self...

I guarantee I lose my next match or so and we will have a rematch ivital. I don't want to come off as a dick, but I felt uneasy about winning and progressing after the rule change, but the way I look at it is that you won 2 matches in a row to progress, now the rules are best of 5, so we replayed and I won 3 in a row, so in a way I'm the winner. I really don't want to come off as a dick because if you won a match and then I won the rest I would definitely offer you a rematch but do you kinda see my justification?

Yea i do. I you did win, Its just why change the rules why were in the middle of the tournament we would be better off waiting till next tourney to mix the rules up.

No! Your going to take the Semi finals and the finals! Your jade improved allot since our last match good luck.. Guess i'll just have to take losers Finals <_<
 
Thanks. I think he changed it since he realize first round went so fast and since "technically" next round wasn't suppose to begin yet he wanted to make the future rounds longer. I really appreciate you willing to rematch based on the new rules, your a really good player and look at all the praise you got in this thread already.
 
WHoa guys, there hasnt been ANY random rule changes!

I made a suggestion, I was waiting for feedback. You two were the ones that wanted to play ahead of everyone, which i had NO PROBLEM WITH.

I also stated that this was a suggestion, and bearing in mind that a Second Round game had gone ahead, if iVital wanted to keep his semi final spot, then the tournie would carry on as normal!

You guys need to msg me back, before just going ahead and complaining after...

EDIT: You know what, dont worry about the suggestion. We'll just keep things as they were, and iVital still has his Semi Final place. I will say guys, NOTIFY ME FIRST. It seems just like sour grapes, that you went ahead, and because you lost second time round, you complained. You should have said "Okay, that's cool, we'll reschedule our rematch tonight". Instead you just went ahead without saying if that was ok. Nothing was set in stone, it was a SUGGESTION.

I appologise for the mix up, I will re-schedule Saix back into the Losers Bracket as originally planned and iVital back into the Semis. It will still be BEST OF THREE for round 2, everyone.

Okay im sorry about that Saix. I did make it quite clear it was a suggestion. A couple of guys said "no", but 3 guys said "yes". Like I said, nothing was set in stone.

If there was confusion due to me, I am sorry. I thought I said it was a suggestion, not a rule change halfway through, and I did make it clear that due to your previous match, should iVital want to keep his Semi Final place, then we'll keep things as they are.

Lets not argue anyways, this tournament is a bit of fun.

It's cool man, it's mainly my fault. I was a bit dubious to do something like that, and I should have been a bit clearer. Don't worry, i've messaged everyone, and we're back to 3 rounds for Round 2. I guess the beauty of this lil tournie is seeing what works, and what could be improved for a future one. Saix seems happy to go back, and it was a bit unfair to just put that on you, iVital, but don't worry, it's all back to square one and i'll put you back in the Semis! I didn't mean to sound like a nag about it just then.
