That's how their costumes have always been. You can't change EVERYTHING about the franchise. Agreed that they could do with a less "stripper" look for Mileena. But You simply cannot change their identifying colors for the sake of a darker atmosphere. It's who they are. Without purple, Mileena is just some fugly who can fight really well and has nasty teeth.yah but in that trailer its still bright purples, and silly colors an pathetically over kill costumes
I'm not saying it has to be friendships. But MK has always had camp-y/silly elements peppered in SOMEWHERE in the gameplay. There should be somewhere where this is still featured. Be it a finisher or something else.an no, id rather no friendships coz the ywill take over the placing for extra fatals or brutalities, i would have rathered brutals then babals in mk9 ....
This I agree with. But then again, almost ALL of the dialogue in MK2011 was laughable. Incredibly cheesy. I'd really appreciate some more serious writing and less jokes/scenes like Liu Kang flirting with Kitana, Johnny Cage and Jax fighting for some reason, etc.Uker is right about cage too, its just sooo silly how they made him, every one was silly really... the lines an dialog was laughable
Outside of some toy looking characters and Bo Rai Cho's "humor", MKD had an ideal tone for me. It was dark, it was mystic enough, it had couple classic backgrounds for nostalgia, it had a sence of death posibile out of nowhere (death traps), it had feel of eternety (Konquest), it even forced you to think (Chess, Onaga fight). Too bad roster sucked and fighting engine wasn't good enough.
Cage was good cheesy IMO![]()
It fit the atmosphere, yeah. But I'm really hoping he's more serious this time around. Along with all of the story.
LOL. Nicely put. They tried the funny route with the last mk and it delivered about as well as an Adam Sandler movie.
Was it friendships, babalities or both that started in MKII?
