The Original Starters return for 'Pokemon X' & 'Y'

Looks like competitive battling is going back to the PokeGen ways.
All you're going to have to do is Gen then into Black or White and then transfer them to X or Y. Sucks, a lot of the competitive battlers said it actually felt a lot more rewarding to raise your own team from scratch. But there's no way they'll stick to it when they can go back to making perfect teams in less than 5 minutes.

I don't see how that confirms Pokegenning. Sure you can move your Pokemon to the PC, but you could always do that. Looks like I'll NEVER be able to play Pokemon online. :\

It confirms it because you can create Pokemon, put them in your 5th gen game, use your 5th gen game to transfer them to PokeBank, then transfer them out of PokeBank to your 6th gen game.

PokeBank is a virtual PC that spans between 5th Gen and 6th Gen.

Well I was hearing that if you have a Pokegenned Pokemon, it will corrupt your save file. Regardless if there was PokeBank or not, you can Pokegen. You could transfer Pokegen Pokemon to Gen6 without PokeBank. But I'm just wondering if the corrupt save file thing is true, or if there is some kind of way that they prevent these cheated Pokemon.

Ended up trading my Articuno for a Grimer

Also decided that I'm going to raise my team over from scratch. Breeding for perfect natures and whatnot. At least some of them.

HELL YEAH BICH!

Started breeding the Grimer to get the desired nature, finally got the nature I wanted on like the 8th egg.
That 8th Grimer? Also came out shiny :pimp:

The first Haunter I found was a shiny..... and the Mega is friggin White with gray and black eyes. My life is complete.

That's so weird. I've never even seen a shiny before except for the created ones. Isn't the percentage like .0 something?

The chances of getting a shiny is 1 in 8,192 or 0.01%. That percentage can be lowered. I call major BS on getting the desired nature as well as a shiny on the same Pokemon. The chances of that are insane. There are 25 natures. The chances of what you said you got is like 1 in 204,800.

Also the first Haunter Buzzrad found was shiny? Either something is seriously up with this game or you guys Pokegenned. haha

I never understood the attraction to shiny pokemon anyway. They're just a different color. Are the stats better or something?

No, just different color. It's something you understand or you don't. It feels really good to get one, since they are so rare.

There is the masuda method though. You can increase your chances to 1,366. But getting the right nature even with that method is 1 in 34,150.

Nothing of the sort. I walked into the ice cave and the first pokemon I encountered was a shiny Haunter.

Sassy natured 100% legit Shiny Muk.
Don't hate me because I'm beautiful

Pro Tip: Believe everything you see on the internet.

A better nature for Muk is Brave.

but look what I just found legit first try.

This is what I've been working on. This is what legit shiny searching looks like.

Sassy is better for the Muk I'm building.

I'm not sure how else to prove though that he's legit. I've already said I don't know how to Gen in Y. It's not even like I was trying to get a Shiny Grimer, I just wanted a Sassy one. Turns out the first Sassy one I got was a shiny.

I have a box with a lot of failed Grimer babies in it too

Muk is good as sassy nature. Because it can have high azz sp.def and high HP.. Then super train his HP and Sp.def and some attack. Then make him have the egg moves curse and shadow sneak.

Who learns Shadow Sneak?

I trained him in HP, Sp Def & Attack. With a little Def

Just go to Serebii.net and find muk and look at his/her's egg move click shadow sneak and it will tell u who learns it and can pass it down to the kid(Dads can only pass down egg moves, but moms can pass egg moves down now but only sometime?)

According to the charts, Keckleon learns it too. I'll just find one of those.
Sucks though, wont be able to use my Shiny Muk :(
