The Original Starters return for 'Pokemon X' & 'Y'

But those guys with red suits and hair... they don't look threatening at all. In Gen 1 and II Team Rocket killed pokemon and even had whips, once they had tech that forced evolution, Gen III the guys were crazy enviromentalists who manipulated land and sea through lengendaries, Generation IV they were guys who wanted to remake reality and then I just couldn' afford Gen V with the Knights and now these red guys?

Villains have been progressively losing their skill to be threatening.

All I see in this thread is genwunners who can never embrace change and just live in the past. I've been playing the games since Red and Blue back in the day. It's true that some of the gens (like gen 3-5) were mostly just WTF. But there are some cool things that came from those gens. I'm still open-minded to good changes. This is a good change. Take your nostalgia and shove it up your angus because Red and Blue days are over. Who cares if the main character uses a messenger bag? Are you the fashion police? The reason why the trainers in gen1 were so basic is because the graphics were horrible back then and they couldn't add much detail.

*hugs* I love you so much.

Doesn't mean Mawile doesn't deserve an actual evolution or Lucario for that matter. Though maybe he'd be way too overpowered for an evolution

I'd like to see a Durant evolution. It looked like such a basic Pokemon, I was surprised when there was no evolution. Steel/Bug is a great combination also.

He is a badazz and he is a good pokemon. But Sicorz is better.

I hate genweeners say "pokemon sucks and is bad" They why is it still going? Because Pokemon is doing right.

I'd rather another Colosseum game with CAT.

Also Zekrom>Reshiram>Kyurem in any form.

Grey>Black 2 and White 2

Kris>=Lyra

Change is sometimes good.

D Dog and Reaver need to stop bashing and hating us for liking the older generations more. You know why? Heart Gold and Soul Silver faaaaaaar outsold Diamond and Pearl. Both of those games are 50 bucks used at Gamestop. The point is, a remake of one of the best generations ever was probably the most successful pokemon game set released. So stop telling us to move on, I'm more excited for a Ruby and Sapphire remake than X and Y. I'm going to play X and Y, but I'm going to import as many older gen pokemon as I can.

Whenever I started White, I imported a Torchic and Totodile. Whenever I started White 2, I imported an entire team of Hoenn pokemon. (Absol, Bagon, Beldum, Torchic, Treecko, and Mudkip.) Why? Because I love Gen 3. But I still played Gen 5 all the way through. And I'm gonna do the same with Gen 6, except probably use Johto starters.

I'm not hating you for liking the older generations more, you miss my point entirely. I like gen1 the best also. But I'm not close-minded to things changing like all of these people whining. Completely bashing every new idea that isn't gen1. People are bashing the idea of extra evolutions for the original starters. That blows my mind.

Also... nice job trying to post like me. It's pretty cute actually. I'm glad that you want to be like me, but there can only be one highlander.
