Nice backpedaling. First, you were asserting that Sentinel, Arthur, etc. do not fit into the game. Now you are telling me it's matter of your favorite characters not being in the game.

To address your new argument: What does that solve? The game isn't just made for you...everybody has their own idea who should be part of the roster. You are living in a Utopian world if you believe that everybody is going to be pleased. If you don't like it, don't play it. It's not that hard to understand.

Iron Man/Sent/Storm

My main team will probably end up being

Iron Man/Sent/Phoenix

Alright got the game played it for about an hour and a half

and here are some of my initial thoughts:

1. Holy shit Sent is God tier again

2. Galaticus isn't as cheap as i thought he would be

3. I haven't had this much fun in a fighting game since UMK3

4. Dante is good, i mean really good

5. Things that tick me off: No story mode, no watching other people play while you wait, no replays, aracade mode is only 6 stages before glaticus

That's it really for me right now as far as first impressions

I can't get that great of a feel for it until I get my fightstick this weekend, fighting on a controller is just awful.
 
O yea one more thing

I lost in the 2nd round in the gamestop tourny

Yea I am sure it is, good thing they didnt forget spectator mod....oh wait....

enough complaining, I will admit in training mode I can get the controls just fine however when going against the CPU I am trying to 6 button the game I suppose I should have stayed away from SF and KI for a week, going to need to break that mental hurdle before I go online.
 
I'm of two minds about getting this game right now. I enjoyed playing MvC2, and I love fighting games...but I got into the game really late and I'm not into the franchise like I am MK or SF yet, so I'm iffy on slapping $60 down for the new one.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I ****ing hate Capcom's DLC bullshit ^^^
 
Enjoying it so far, it's not the best game, but is a bit fun. Seems over simple and yet complex all at the same time (just figuring out certain normal moves, etc are not easily presented to the user).

Already unlocked all four characters and got around 250 achievement points. Not bad for a few hours.
 
I was going to pick it up today after work but I changed my mind and decided I will rent it whenever a copy is available instead. It looks like SF4 and SF4 got boring to me after a few days so I prefer not to waste $60+ on it....hard, though, because Chris, Wesker and Jill are in it and people who know me understand my die hard RE fangirlism so fffffffff.......
