Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

I only really recognise the guy from Battle of the Planets. Just realised that this is the first time that a Darkstalkers character has been done in 3D too.

We need a sequel to Capcom Fighting Jam, using the SFIV engine. Instead of just re-using old sprites, they should include non-fighting game characters too, like Dante, Chris Redfield and Arthur from Ghouls and Ghosts, along with characters from fighting games other than Street Fighter and Darkstalkers, like Powerstone, Rival Schools and Toshinden. Maybe a couple of EX characters too. Just something I'd play.
 
Yea, Dante could kick some serious ass. In fact, so could Leon Kennedy and chris Redfield. Besides, Capcom fighters usually do have more than just fighting game characters, just not 3D ones. They've got Megaman after all.
 
Yeah but they mostly just re-use the same old sprites for vs. games. Marvel vs. Capcom had some better characters like Jill Valentine and Strider Hiryu, and coincidentally that's the best one of the Capcom vs. Series. Recycling is certainly not a good thing, as far as Capcom is concerned, and people like seeing characters out of context too. Which is why I wanna play this so bad.

No, Marvel vs SF is the overral best of the series...
 
You think so? I wasn't too impressed. They are the only two MvC games I own and I much prefer MvC2 over MSHvSF. I think it's the fact that there's like a million fighters, whereas in MvSF there's hardly any.

Ok, well I say that in the overall scheme of things. Most balanced game of the series, and its not broken! lol MvC2 is still my favorite of all the Capcom 2-D's (w/ SFA3 & SF3:3s) MvC2 is broken all to hell and very unbalanced (top tier characters are WAY too powerful) but its fun level excedes almost every other game in any genre.
 
I gotta say I hardly recognize half this games characters lol, Capcom has some standouts but the other company I've hardly seen honestly.

It should be cool but I think this is just partially countering the announcement and hype of MK vs. DC honestly

I also heard there will be a MVC3 at some point. I'll give it a shot though for sure, I love trying out new crossovers but most likely I will be playing MK vs. DC the most and then SF 4 as well : )

As for track record discussion, both Midway and Capcom have had long track records. MK is on it's 8th game and Capcom with SF on it's 4th, so both have been around a while I'd say. And both have had their ups and downs, that's all that needs to be said really.

For 3D games, Capcom has utterly failed at every attempt. Midway has made somewhat good, fun 3D games at least though(MK:DA is awesome and MK:SM rocked). Granted, there's problems with MKD and MKA but still I'd easily take that any day over SF EX....
 
There's a wii version? shit...Wii is getting some GOOD games, I read the other day they're also getting a new Punch Out, Tetris for WiiWare online up to 6 players, Animal Crossing, Wii sports +, this game which looks pretty cool and rumors circulating from Midway about some kind of MK8 game coming to the wii plus they also hinted months ago in the future you never know, you might see a classic MK like UMK3 for DS something like that for the wiiware online. Man...I'd LOVE to see MK 4 and or MK:DA!!

For MKT I have my N64 and PSX, but I'd definitely wouldn't mind seeing MK4 for WiiWare online. I think it would get MK4 back into the scene a little bit.

Unless you make certain...modifications. But Nintendo is trying very hard to stop that, as per the latest update well...stopping that.
 
I'm looking forward to more Wii Ware games and games generally speaking coming out next year.

Hey I was wondering if we wanted to since we're not in europe, can we just order it online thru Amazon or Ebay? It should still play on our Wii right?

No, you cant play Japanese games on a American Wii :(

Doesnt matter. This game will come out at some point for PS3, and there is NO region lock there ;)

I am SO amped to play this even more than SFIV & MKvDC :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
