ok u just mixed Rain with Kratos with a really silly name. Syphonius and OCEANUS!!! why does no one else see this. Please try again

Wow, talk about a little harsh man...did you even bother to read the story? I always wanted a more powerful water type character in MK that has ONLY water powers, nothing else. In comparison to the numerous amount of MK characters that have used fire as their element, I wanted to add a different element in the sorts.
As for Kratos, I did not think once of him when I created this character. I came up with the name Syphonius a long time ago and I decided to use it here...I have not heard of any major game or film using that name. I do admit using the name Oceanus from Greek Mythology. Like I mentioned in a previous post since many people are requesting a name change, I gave the idea of Suigetsu and Mizuro, where both prefixes "Sui" and "Mizu" mean water in Japanese.
The reason I didnt come up with those names originally is that my intentions for the characters of Syphonius and Oceanus were to be more of an Atlantis-type background, so thats where the correlation with Kratos being ancient Greek may have seemed like he was borrowed. As for his choice of weapons, it may be similar to Kratos Blades of chaos in that they are both chain weapons, but Syphonius' weapons resemble far more Axl Low's from the guilty gear series. As well, Kratos has a pair of chains whereas Syphonius has his Kamas (Japanese sickles) attached to only one chain. Finally, I was also inspired by the moves of Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden 2 with his kusarigama, another variation of a chained Kama sickle, where the kusarigama has only one sickle and a large iron weight instead of another kama sickle... I rest my case

Thats quite a good design mate! I like it! Whenever I think of Syphonius, Tenkai's avatar pic comes to my mind than anything else lol.

OMG!!!!!!! THAT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! How did you make that!?!?!? The only critique I would give it is that Syphonius isnt a ninja, hence no ninja mask, but this could be his alternate assassin outfit or something
Besides that though, how on earth did you know to pick my favorite arena for his background =D !?!?!? I LOVE IT MAN!!! p.s. If I gave you a certain model with certain attributes to work with, do you think you could make a similar image? I know it was my fault for not being 100% descriptive on Syphonius' full look...as Flying Jinko said, I would like him to resemble more of my avatar's look...Ill come up with some specific ideas and Ill let you know...is that ok?

Yeah that's fine. Just PM me the details and I'll work on it in my free time. I left out obvious stuff like the baggy pants with coy print. It kinda took on a life of it's own as I put it together. To build it I just fused MK9 renders together(Kung Lao, Ermac, Liu Kang, and believe it or not Ezio from AC) then modded the colors. As far as picking Shang Tsungs garden...... I just thought he'd look best in that arena. That's weird that it happens to be your favorite stage lol. I'm glad you liked it though.

@ Tenkai I really like you character he reminds me of Fujin and Kung Lao, Kung Lao has wind abilities but Fujin has mastered them like your OC and Rain I saw him in Flying Jinko's MK11 story my OC Lucius is in there too you should give me some feed back on him
