Seeing how many people (you may include me) miss these guys (I'll say who in a moment), wouldn't it be awesome if they threw in a cyborg DLC character that had Sektor, Cyrax and Smoke as its variations?

What do you people think?

I can a character like that, just change up the specials each variations but keep the same normals or give them different properties, I think it would be badass.

I'd rather have Cyber Smoke with a human alt and a Cyrax variation. That way, Smoke fans and cyborg fans are both pleased.
 
My reasoning is that the variations thing makes it easy to have 3 characters in one, and it would be an interesting twist to have a new cyborg that could mimic the previous three.
 
God that would be a dream come true. Some kind of Lin Kuei prototype that has Sektor and Cyrax's arsenals loaded into it.
 
cool idea, expressed before (I voted yay though , not the idiot option ;P). lots want Smoke human though so if he is DLC down the road, perhaps they could even do Cyrax, Sektor, Cyborg Subzero (with a new and better moveset) or someone brand new as the third variation
 
i think they could do a good cyrax and sector variation without it taking anything away from predator
the same way i think predator will have a lazer without it taking anything away from kano for example.

it would actually make for interesting match ups to see sector and cyrax up against the character they were inspired by

smoke, cyrax and sector were hugely popular in MK9 and theres no denying they have a large fanbase.
any chance NRS can get to combine 3 hugely popular characters into one roster spot they should take. im surprised this isnt already a thing to be honest. yet the cage family get 3 whole slots! thats kinda shitty

so yeah id be happy with it and id love an updated cyrax thats unbroken
personally id love to see his bombs get some new treatments like
rolling out one bomb, then rolling out a second bomb that can knock the first bomb to a new location (kinda like marbles)
or kick a bomb across the floor or kick them at the opponents face

however if NRS's play (as some may suspect) is that predator is the replacement for cyrax and jaquie is the replacement for sector......
then sector fans certainly got the short end of the stick!! (by far!!)
id love to hear sector mainers thoughts on that one!

i learned both cyrax and sector early on in MK9
over time i stopped using them once discovering cyrax was broken
and i didnt use sector because i think his hits took off too much damage
both were too easy to win with in my eyes but just because they werent my cup of tea in MK9 dosent mean they could not be done justice in MKX. if anything these are the exact type of characters the team should of fine tuned into something fresh and new. as oppose to all the bland human characters
(yeah i know the cyborgs are human underneath) but they dont look and play like regular humans, and its these kind of characters that add a wider variety to the roster both visually and gameplay wise.
ill take these dudes over soldiers and midgets and cowboys any day.

I hate to say it, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit if I never saw the cyber ninjas ever again. I thought their human looks before being turned into robots was way more interesting anyway.

however i think predator is likely to be a fine alternative to cyrax so i dont think boon will respond to cyrax wants

id rather see him respond to a baraka or sindel tweet
 
I only miss Kabal for some reason.
He's one of those "interesting" characters despite me not playing him much at all.
 
As long as Smoke keeps his ninja form and never gets turned into a cyborg again I'm ok.

cyber ninjas have technology on their bodies designed for kombat (weapons etc)

predator also has technology on his body for kombat reason

predator has a lazer cannon on his shoulder, his clothing enables invisibility he has razor claws and a net that can cut through anything, razor discs and other cool shit

the character of cyrax was obviously inspired by this
he has the net,the razor discs,and a self destruct button lol

and sector was a just a pallet swap of cyrax and dosent really have much in common with predator unless you wanna include the rockets being similar to predators lazer cannon but i dont find them very similar.
