Story mode (Chapter 1) impressions **Spoilers**

It's like sports teams. There is no set equation to who wins. Or think of it like rock paper scissors.

IMO, almost everyone has the potential to beat almost everyone else.

Not the same Sub-Zero that Johnny Cage fought

Oops! My mistake. What about Scorpion? I guess he was laying on the couch eating cheetos while Johnny was training because he got dusted off pretty easily. Johnny even did the three stooges double head crack on them.

There needs to to be some consistency tho. Cage can't go from beating both Scorpion and Sub-Zero to getting whipped by Sonya in her chapter. It cheapens the events of the story. MK9 had that problem. Some of the canon fights were pretty wacky.

Johnny Cage is a really powerful character in the series, but there's no way Stryker should have been able to beat Kintaro on his own.

Agree to disagree, I guess.

So, how do you guys feels about Johnny Cage being able to defeat both Sub-Zero and Scorpion? Think it's cool or lame? What say you?

Kinda cool, one of the things that fighting games don't really show is that every one has a equal playing feild so no matter how important the character is to the story they do have a chance to lose, also he did have help from

Ok ok ok, normally I don't do this but the sub zero in the intro with Quan chi says that he is not his brother when Quan chi says that he has his brother's soul (cyber sub zero's soul) based on chapter 1 story mode...

QTE isn't anything near enough to deter me from playing the game.

And QTE never affect me personally It's just something for me to push during cutscenes.

It's not particularly fun, but I was going to be watching the cutscene anyways.

I'm just saying in OTHER games where QTE exist, People shit on the game for having it, when it only exists during cutscenes. I have serious doubts people will shit on MKX for doing the same thing.

It's all relative to what you like it seems. IF you don't like something. You're going to FIND EVERY thing wrong with it and foul it like it's the worst thing on the planet.

But if you like it psychologically you're going to be more prone to defending it or scoffing off negative criticism.

Just a behavior pattern I notice is all.

Too bad Scorpion would kill 80% of this roster and the same if not more so for Sub. It's for the theatrics of the game, notice that you don't finish your opponents in story mode. This Mortal Kombat is a fight to the death and to win is to best your opponent, what the good guys do or kill your opponent like it the villains do.
