Stop Online Piracy Act (Scary Facts)

The Internet. It may have been around since the 90's, but the dream people have imagined it would be has only recently taken off, and still growing. And to think that the people in charge of this bill want to come in a destroy something so huge and so relevent in our evolving culture.

I smell demogogues everywhere, and I also smell greed and monopoly.

I am against piracy, but I am not down with the true meanings behind this bill.

If we keep sitting back and letting this stuff happen it's only gonna get worse. We the civilians WAY outnumber these greedy people. THIS BETTER NOT PASS, it's time we get loud and start some serious business.

I'm gonna make a sign and stand out in the intersection of my town. Go to the Mall and hand out flyers or hell just LINKS to this video so people know. No one at my job is talking about this... so it's not widespread enough.
 
Funny thing is. Why don't they work on the economy instead, who gives a shit about the internet. You can't restrict trillions of websites. New ones are created every second!

The economy has been needing a fix for way to long.

Because while all of us peons are suffering, the bankers are pretty much living off interest. They pay the bills in the District of Corruption.

My lame cable company has a cap on how much you can download/stream. Once you go above your cap, you have to pay up to $50, depending on how high you go.
 
The only thing I download is music, and the record labels are the ones making most of the money off of it.

Maybe only about 5 to 10% goes to the actual artist.

Every artist makes the majority of their money touring anyway, so **** the label...
 
downloading illegal music isn't the issue they want to make so if there is a link to an illegal site on any site they can shut that site down. some one posts a link to pirate bay on face book , face book is no more.
