I don't know how many MMO goers are on TRMK, but those of you are may have heard of this spectacular WoW killer know as Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Easily the most in-depth MMO that will be released in due time. Fully voiced, conversation system like Mass Effect, AI party member like Mass Effect and Dragon Age, being produced by EA, eight classes that are completely different from one another, in-depth story and lore, inevitably huge player base(c'mon, it's Star Wars), lightsabers. What's not to love?

If you haven't heard of it, check it out. It's true gem that will be a huge success. I can feel it.

Those of you who do know what I'm talking about, I ask you all, what class are you looking to play?

I want to play a Sith Inquisitor or an Imperial Agent. Possibly a Jedi Knight or Consular. I can't decide, but I'm leaning towards an Imperial Agent.
 
I pretty much love anything made by bioware, so I have a ton of faith in the game.

I'll probably start with a consular.
 
Defintely. Been following it for a while. I want to play as a Sith Juggernaut. I always tanked in WoW, and Conan, and league of legends.

Yeah, but the class I'm looking forward to after that is definitely Sith Warrior. I hate to be just another force user...but they just look so damn fun.
 
IMO, they should have made KOTOR III then this game. I want to play as Revan again dammit! Now he's like: "Oh remember that sith lord that redeemed himself, killed Malak and disappeared into the galaxy? Well I killed him!" Very disappointed Bioware.

Ever since EA bought them out their quality of games has been going on a downward spiral.
 
I'm avoiding all MMOs they tend to be huge time sinks and usually your life has to somewhat be scheduled around them to be able to do anything.

Sure I spend alot of time in Starcraft 2. But I'm not bound to be logged in at specific times to get things done in a group.
 
I'm a huge Star Wars fan. Have been ever since I can remember. Alas, I'm not a huge MMO fan, but because of BioWare's involvement, I'm willing to give TOR a shot, and my fiancee is excited about the game too. Unfortunately, I doubt our computer will be able to run it. It wheezes heavily even on a graphics-light game like The Sims 3, to say nothing of a current game oriented towards a more dedicated fanbase. I'm kind of disappointed by that fact, actually. It'll probably be forever before I can get TOR and actually play it. I hope it does well.
 
Why am I subscribed to this thread when I haven't even posted?

Well anyway lol I'm not into MMOs but I am a huge Star Wars fan so this will probably be a great game
 
About time this thread becomes more active.

I love Star Wars. It's friggin' great. I can't wait for the Agent man. I need some poeple to play this with when it comes out...lol

I'm playing with my RL friends, but when I find out what server ect ect. You're more than welcome to join my group.

(Warning) some of my friends are ridiculous with MMORPGS to the point that's like literally all they do in their free time.
We all have a pro-gaming background so You can trust me when I say we won't suck.
