Yes I am. This thread is about CSZ. I expressed why I hated the mere idea of this abomination. You may not agree with it but it's 100% on Topic and you telling me out in the open that you reported me is ujst you trying to bully me to change my views. You could have easily just PMed me instead of trying to make a show out of this like pretending I'm a child that must be disciplined by some random adult which would be you in this case.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I have blantantly told you im not trying to change your mind everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I welcome people to share them but you are spreading the same BS everywhere without reading people topics! You cant have an adult conversation and exchange thoughts because you say the same stuff everywhere and its getting annoying. Maybe if you would address peoples comments and actually look around at different stuff like we are telling...but no you dont! You come here and say the same thing all over again!

Whether your stupid or not just went out of question. You're maturity is definitely lacking. You repeat yourself with the same damn thing every time. We have all tried to be patient with you. You're *****ing and complaining saying that we are all trying to change your mind, which is not true, yet you won't shut up long enough to see anyone's point of view. You will argue til you are blue in the face because you are trying to change our minds.

As for all the rest of us who have tried to reason, I advise we just walk away from this thread. People are going to be 'people' nothing we say or do can or will change that.

As should have I, but I'm trying to change the perception that all of us who have been here for a while (I know you're still new, but you're an exception) think that we are elitist. Thus, I tried reasoning, explaining, making him see the benefits. It's just not working and there is no sense is trying to fix a broken record that's shattered into a million pieces.
 
That's why you've failed. You're trying to change what I think and when that didn't work you reported me. I hate this character. Nothing you say will change that fact. I hope that he's just a forgotten dream and is never brought up again after MK9. That's how much I hate this unneeded change. Yet you have the nerve to tell me to give it a chance? Please. I've been a MK fan since I was a child and what they've done is Character Assasination, plain and simple.

What you should have down with just agreed to disagree and stop trying to change how much I hate this Abomination.

Okay, this thread has gotten pretty out of hand, so let's all just settle down and take a deep breath. Differing opinions are very welcome here, but insults are not. Keep it calm and civil so I don't have to lock this thing.

Anyways, I hope this character is really top tier. I hope he's technical and hard to learn! Can't wait to see him in game, I think it will be awesome!
 
Well... Since Sektor is very popular I have a feeling he might get a boost to edge him out over the more inferior Cyborg counterparts. After all, he's the one that fully embraces his cyborg side and constanty upgrades himself.
 
Wow, this thread really got heated!, I know there's alot of people that keep comparing Smokes situation in MK3 to Sub Zero's in MK 2011, but theres really no comparison, Smoke had no story until he was automated, in MK II he was just "an undiscovered warrior from MK 1", but here we have Sub Zero, the character with the richest story in MK, and now us Sub fans possibly get the chance of seeing his story go in a different direction snuffed because he ends up a souless machine. I was thinking though, in UMK 3, human Smoke was a hidden character and was more or less non-cannon, maybe its the same here? I really would'nt mind using Cyber Sub in this game, his look has kinda grown on me, what concerns me is that when the sequel to this game comes out, if he's still a Cyborg, I'll more or less have lost my favorite character. Theres a thousand ways NR coulda' made Sub Zero different and fresh without having him go cyber, I still kinda take this as Ed Boon giving us old school Sub fans a big F**K Y*U but, on the flip side of the coin, NR gave us the Klassic Sub/ninja skins, so thats a plus in my book.

You are right thats why:

"Smoke" is how everyone calls the cyborg because is the original one, and that makes the human version "Human Smoke" and not just "Smoke", now that happens now too, when you say "Sub Zero" is the original human one and the cyborg version is "Cyber Sub-Zero" because "Sub-Zero" will always be the original human one as same as "Smoke" will always be the cyborg one.

I don't
Smoke is Smoke, Robo-Smoke is automated Smoke and Human Smoke is Smoke in his human *original* form. In MKu3 - whatever the last garbage MK was Robo-Smoke was just called Smoke because he was the primary, human Smoke was non-Cannon. Now in Mk9 human Smoke is cannon so we call him Smoke. FYI human Smoke was the original in MK2.
If Sub is automated in MK10 Cyber-Sub will be Sub and for human Sub we would say human Sub.
 
Maybe but Cyber Smoke as always been just Smoke since his appearance while YSZ has always been Sub-Zero since his appearance.

Thus with the changes its Human Smoke and Cyber Sub-Zero so as to not confuse fans.
 
Yet Human Smoke was just Smoke in MK 2. And officially in MKu3 both Smokes were just "Smoke" on the life bar. Which ever one is cannon would be given just the name, while the special or alternate version would have something added on to distinguish it from the normal/cannon version. It wouldn't make sense if we kept calling him Cyber-Sub if that is to be his default version in future games. Regardless of which came first because both human Smoke and human Sub came first and both made their appearance in MK2.
