Scorpion wasn't torn to shreds only because the elder gods saved him. So unless someone intervenes in Noob's case as well (the elder gods again or Shinnok possibly) he would be ripped apart and would cease to exist.

here's my 2 cents on this, I could be wrong but try to roll with me here. now cyber sub is dead as dead gets basicly at the end of mk9. noob may be dead as well, after all he got his sorry ass kicked into that vortex. elder gods only know wtf happened to him then but considering how grimdark mk can be sometimes. possibility of him having been destroyed is quite likely. now lets shift to mk10, with characters like cassie cage, this game takes place quite awhile after the end of mk9. which makes me think of this. if both previous subs are dead, then I think next most likely conclusion in my mind is perhaps that this new sub is by chance maybe, the son of one of the previous subs who has grown up and taken up his father mantle and name. that's just my theory anyway. I could be completely wrong but I think it would be really interesting if this was in fact the case.

That is a very plausable concept. Very likely I will say.

Personally, it kinda reminds me of Robin in the Batman comic series. There were several Robins throughout the series when all I ever wanted was one.

this is the only thing I can think of that makes the most sense without nrs going back and screwing too much with what they did with the mk9 story.

The quote where Sub Zero says, "we tire of maintaining our innocense..." etcetera, simply refers to the Lin Kuei as a clan. Lin Kuei is innocent. Quan Chi destroyed Scorpion's family and clan!

You know, I think this theory is plausable to a certain extent, but that's about as far as I'll go. I'm giving it 30% of being true.

I wouldn't mind, if it came to it, but can't say I'd be thrilled either.

Personally, I think it's a new dude.

Who said anything about the elder gods putting kahn's soul into sub? If anything it'd be something Kahn had arranged beforehand. An "if I am to die, infuse my soul with one of the earth realm warriors." type of situation with quan chi or another sorcerer

Shao Kahn can't "die" because if the canon in MKD is canon and when we see Shao Kahn in MK9 turn into light then the following quotes are true:

"In their purest form, the Elder Gods resemble the dragon symbol of the Mortal Kombat tournament."

"In the beginning days, sorcerers were commanded by the Elder Gods to construct the many portals that connect the realms." (sorcerers like Quan Chi?)

"The Gods do not truly die; they merely dissipate until they can be reformed."

"Shao Kahn, Lucifer, and Raiden are of the same race of beings."

Well hey, thanks for that bit of information. Could be using Sub's body as a means to get shit done until he's ready to re-form. Lolol I know I keep making radical assumptions, I'm just gonna roll with this whole idea.

Which is still a possibility that people are ignoring.
The elder gods could choose to intervene and make Sub-Zero their champion this time around (new timeline), instead of Scorpion (old timeline).

Just Throwing this out there. but didn't Noob have a weapon called the troll hammer. (One game) still a hammer and could be Bi-Han weapon of choice. If It was mentioned already then NM.

I'd just call it as a nod to Shao Kahn, not Kahn himself. Sub-Zero can manipulate ice as he wants anyway.

At least I don't want him to be Kahn, because let's be honest, although he has been great villain, he has also been overused and I've personally got fed up with him.

Noob being purified and Bi-Han coming back.. I'd like that.

If Bi-Han gets purified back to normal then what's going to happen with Kuai Liang if he comes back to life. Kuai Liang is the Sub Zero that pretty much everyone grew up with. I don't think they would get rid of Kuai Liang for Bi-Han.

It's not a third guy, He is most likely Bi Han but there's a chance that he could be Kuai Liang. They are bringing some of the characters that died in MK9 back so they'll bring him back from dead too.

And yeah Shao Kahn being put into Sub-Zero is just plain ridiculous.

I don't care how they bring them back from dead but i want them to be back to life and Sub-Zero should be Kuai Liang and Noob should be Bi Han.
