Sub-Zero's identity in MKX confirmed!

Re: [SPOILER, RUMOR] Sub-Zero's identity in MKX is...

Quan Chi's "I have your brother's soul" line was also confirmed by someone else who attended an event. (I'll go look for it.)

Quan Chi having an army of dead EarthRealm revenants (aka reanimated ghosts) in MKX was also confirmed by Shaun Himmerick......

Re: [SPOILER, RUMOR] Sub-Zero's identity in MKX is...

Noob Saibot's death was also confirmed by the wiki.

You do know that anyone can go in and edit the Wiki, right?
The Wiki if full of plot-holes, anyways, so it's not a reliable source either.

Unless MKX specifically states otherwise, Noob Saibot, much like Schrodinger's cat, can currently be considered BOTH dead and alive.
Both can be true as neither are confirmed.
His whereabouts are currently unknown.

Re: [SPOILER, RUMOR] Sub-Zero's identity in MKX is...

My theory has no plot-holes, but nice try.
In Deadly Alliance, the Soulnado that Scorpion was thrown into was created with an "ancient stone structure". Turning it into a gateway to the heavens.

Do we know if the Graveyard Soulnado had the same properties? We know that it was used to suck souls from living creatures, but the Deadly Alliance one was already stocked with souls. I don't think that the Graveyard Soulnado is the same as the one shang Tsung had in his palace.
fill that in please.

fill that in please.

Gladly.

In the original timeline, the Soulnado was believed to be a portal to the heavens.
MK9 doesn't say anything regarding the Soulnado not being a portal to the heavens, thus the Soulnado being a portal to the heavens in MK9 can also be considered as a likelihood, and it would actually make sense with my theory that Bi-Han (aka Noob Saibot) was teleported to the heavens, where the Elder Gods make him their Champion and cleanse his soul.

You're going to have to try MUCH harder than that.
I DO like your enthusiasm, though. :)

Did you even read what BBBLP said? lol

Re: [SPOILER, RUMOR] Sub-Zero's identity in MKX is...

Correct me if I'm wrong, my 2d MK lore knowledge is pretty weak. But wasn't the MK3 Soulando (The same one we see in the final act of MK9) created to vacuum the souls of the living? It's why Stryker was the only person left in the city in the original timeline, right? I remember his bio saying something about him being protected from the Soulnado because he was a Chosen one.

I don't think it was exactly a portal when Quan Chi created it. The one in the Soul Chamber is likely a portal.

Re: [SPOILER, RUMOR] Sub-Zero's identity in MKX is...

The Soulnado in MK3 was a portal of spiritual energy, which contained the souls that were trapped between the various realms.

In MK9 it also seemed to be a portal, since it opened up into the heavens.
Noob Saibot had appeared to go through the portal (after Nightwolf kicked him into the Soulnado), before the Soulnado exploded.

There's nothing in MK9 that states that the Soulnado in MK9 (created by Quan Chi) isn't a portal.
In fact, it you look at the MK9 Soulnado in the video (0:36 mark), it goes into the clouds and seemingly into the heavens.

At the 0:53 mark or the video, Noob Saibot has already disappeared into the Soulnado and seemingly through a portal, WAY before it explodes.

There's nothing in MK9 that states that the Soulnado in MK9 (created by Quan Chi) is a portal.

Noob Saibot disappearing into the heavens states that.

At the 1:00 mark of the video, it's pretty clear, IMO, that the Soulnado is no longer a Soulnado, and the portal has closed after Noob went through it, which then turned into an energy ball and explodes.

You are twisting my words, given that you have no legs to stand on as far as this debate goes.
But i do have legs. I'm just tired of telling you that your butt buddy Bi-Han is dead. If anything i'm not in denial you are.

You're the one that's in denial in believing that your butt-buddy Kuai is alive as Sub-Zero, even though Shaun Himmerick stated in the Quan Chi trailer that all the souls are still under his control, and especially with all the confirmed MKX intro dialogue quotes that point to Bi-Han.

Re: [SPOILER, RUMOR] Sub-Zero's identity in MKX is...

Noob Saibot disappearing into the heavens states that.

Noob Saibot disappearing implies that.
It's also just as possible that the Soulnado absorbed him. Hence it changing color.

Raiden protected their souls, at the least is what he says on the beginning of MK3 when the bell rings.

The portal statement appeared on MK:DA, I don't think on MK3 times they planned the soulnado to be a portal to the heavens, since Noob's Dorfen shows the top of the Soulnado.

Just an observation: the proportion of MK:DA soulnado was absurdely big.

So, I get mocked at for using the word "implies," but you use it?
Anyways, the Soulnado absorbing him =/= him being dead. Changing color could also be the wraith soul separating from Bi-Han, which is another theory that I've discussed (2 souls in 1 body).
