Yeah it's bullshit but I'd still pay for him nonetheless.
 
Why would NRS continuously tell people they should pre-order to get Goro if he turns out to be available and free to everyone no matter if they pre-ordered or not? It makes alot more sense if he is purchasable DLC to those who don't pre-order, as danduffy said:

I have a question, because I'm not sure what happened. I didn't watch the whole story so I'll have to ask you guys.
Is Kotal Kahn evil? I saw him imprison the "kids" (I'm including "" because I'm at their age.). Does that mean he's evil? Same goes for D'Vorah, is she a traitor?

He's not evil, no. He's indeed from Outworld, so he is harsh and kinda old-fashioned when it comes to dealing with certain things, but he is not evil.

its a sales marketing strategy. The try to get as many pre orders as possible so when they ship out the games they have a good estimate of how many to produce and send to each store.

D'vorah's a traitor for sure as she's a follower of Shinnok. She stole the amulet for Quan Chi.

Kotal is still a mystery.
 
For DLC its all about money, if 10k people want Rain, 8k want Spawn, 1k want Reiko and Fujin and they can only choose 2 they will go for the highest 2. If majority wanted jade trust me the chances of her as DLC would be high, even though they said she wouldn't be in MKX. DLC is the way out of what you previously said, "not in game anywhere" 6 months later xxxx is DLC. $$$$

I just don't get how there can be so much more demand for guest characters than for characters that are originated from Mortal Kombat itself.I'd rather get Mokap than Predator and Jason, just because he's a Mortal Kombat character while the other two are not.

Because of the casuals. Look at all the love rain gets here but Freddy was downloaded more than him in mk9.

Speaking too soon for Taven...

NRS seems to want to forget everything that was previously established.It doesn't make sense Shujinko die by Cassie's hands as she was born 21 years after his quest was finished.

Now Ashrah is getting killed just for the sake of forgetting the 3D era.

Just remembered revived Kitana is just a "what if", so it's not canon. Thank God! But I'm seriously asking why did she do it, though?

Well, Arcade endings are non-canon unless proven otherwise in future games. I do like Kenshi's Arcade ending though, because Taven. :3
