SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

How does simply being a fan of certain characters make anyone a spoiled brat? I happen to be a fan of Scorpion, Johnny Cage, and Sonya and ya I'm glad they are in most games. However if they weren't I would realize that this is NRS' game and they have the right to include or take out any characters they want to. This is their game, if you don't like it play a different game or make your own.

The bitterness and hate on this forum is unfortunate. Be a proponent for whatever characters you want, but don't put others down for having a different opinion as you.

When there are people like ISIS, Poetin and that black woman from America that got a heart attack because Janet Jackson showed her nipple on tv + Justin Bieber and Paris Hilton?

You find it strange there are creatures like me? You are strange..

Anyway to stay ontopic: I would love to see D'vorah riding giant insects, and Reptile riding a giant lizard, not some random mammals, mammals suck.
 
It's easy to say you'd be gracious about losing a favorite character when you and I and everyone knows that will never happen any time soon. I'll be honest. If Scorpion got cut, I'd be disappointed. I'd rather he be in the game all the time because I love him. And I know I never have to worry about him being gone. Ever. It'll NEVER EVER happen. NRS isn't that stupid.

I sympathize for the fans of lesser characters. I can understand their anxiety. I don't think they're spoiled to want them in really really badly. But still.

The best we can do is acknowledge their concerns let them know that they have been heard and that despite all that, complaining may not really help in those characters being in the game this late in the development.

Interesting analysis. I think the comics, reflecting with this analysis, show a realistic civil war, multiple sides, betrayal.

Erron Black must hide something very dark, it doesn't look like Kotal knew.

Agreed. Like I said everyone has the right to want whatever characters they want, just don't put others down for happening to like the frequently used characters.

This post isn't directed at you, just continuing where you left off:

MK2 cast +Kano/Ermac/Quan Chi are the main characters of the MK universe. That's more than fifteen characters, and they are very different. If you're playing the games for obscure one hit wonders, you're doing it wrong, and you will be disappointed. Not just by MKX, but by MK11, and MK12, and MK13. Sorry. Find 5+ favorites in that list (really not that hard, it's a diverse cast with some entertaining characters) and you'll never be disappointed, because while all 5 of them might not make it into a game, a bunch always will.

I don't care one bit about Reptile, Ferra/Torr, D'Vorah, Jacqui, or Sonya. So what? They're there for other people. I have plenty to look forward to in this game already.

Sorry to say it, but you might have what I call "main character syndrome"
you think you are smarter then avarage HUMAN +every opinion diffrent from yours is wrong.

I hope it's not the last we see of Rain, seeing how he got destroyed like Hsu Hao makes it sad.

You're talking about narcissistic personality disorder, and you're right.

I don't know what it is about so many Rain/Tanya/etc fans, but many of them seem to be mentally deficient.
 
Goro getting his arms sliced off and appearing in the game with 4 arms confirms the possibility that Kotal Kahn's "rise" to power can still be told in the comics, via flashback.
I seriously doubt that they're not going to tell that part in MKX story mode, where Goro gets his arms ripped / sliced off.
That kind of story stuff is too juicy to just be left in the comics and NOT to be told in the game.

Here we go again, lol.

It doesn't need to be told. Goro is just a jobber in MKX thus far, so his fate is hardly important to the big picture. Yeah, he killed K'Etz, but that whole angle seems like it will be relegated to the comic since it just fills some gaps. And I doubt it will be told, considering he's DLC, which typically excludes one from the story mode in an NRS game.

I could be wrong, but I don't see the point in debating this further, since nothing conclusive points in either direction. Let's just wait for the game to see which way the wind blows.

So far this comic is good although rain is one of my favorites i wasn't sad for what happened to him because o know he won't be in mkx. Now am just worried about reiko. Please god let him be in mkx

My good friend, your post is still there for anyone to quote, mention and/or disagree with. I suggest you edit or delete it if you don't want it to be taken into consideration in an open forum (and it's not like I've quoted something from last year - it was posted today, mere hours ago). Plus, my intention wasn't to start a long discussion about it, just to point out that they could totally include Goro in the game and wouldn't have to explain a thing. I'm sure that's not offensive, right? Especially when you see discussions about people being "retarded" for not agreeing with certain opinions. No reason for PMs, long discussions or whatever - just a different point of view and opinion, which is part of being in a forum.

Hopefully everything's understood!

Nobody is forcing you to discuss anything. Discuss at your leisure. But you shouldn't deride people for trying to discuss something on a discussion forum.
